Very good
We got four ski packs. My daughter had one ski that was ok and one that un-adjusted and couldn't be clipped into the boot at all. She had to walk back and get it sorted out. My friend and one good ski and one that kept on falling off. Not great.

Regarding your daughter’s skis, we confirm that she returned to the shop and that the equipment was readjusted. Our team also advised to come back immediately if the issue occurred again so that we could provide a replacement. Unfortunately, we were not informed of any further problem during the week.
Concerning your friend’s skis, we were only made aware of the issue at the end of the rental period, which unfortunately did not allow us to intervene earlier and offer a solution during your stay.
Please note that all our equipment is regularly checked and maintained, but technical issues can occasionally occur. When they do, our teams are always available to adjust or replace the equipment as quickly as possible.
We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

Deplorable customer service, for skiing at Ski Republic on the snow front in Val d'Isere. I was welcomed with a lot of contempt. Despite the patience I showed, I was spoken to like a dog. I have been going there for years and well I will not return

It was superb. Everything went well and thanks to the longer opening on Saturday we could pick up our equipment already in the evening to ski directly on Sunday morning. Thank you very much for that.

Great welcome. Easy reservation
We arrived at 7pm to collect our ski gear and were told to come back the next day as ski rental closed at 7pm. We said the website said 7.30pm close, but they said that’s just the sales side of the shop, not rentals. It would be useful for the confirmation email or website to say this, as it would have meant we’d miss the skiing the next morning. Luckily he agreed to serve us in the end that day. More generally, my boots didn’t quite fit right and I found the staff to be rude and dismissive when I flagged this. One of the carrying handles on my boots was also broken, and my helmet was uncomfortable.

No reception. Limited equipment that I had photographed to avoid a problem upon return for security. If the seasonal workers do not like the activity, they should change jobs.

On vacation in Val d'Isere from 04/04 to 11/04/26, we rented our equipment from Ski republic Portillo. It was really top-notch, almost new even though we were at the end of the season. I recommend.

Super experience for ski equipment rental! The atmosphere is really cool, you feel at ease as soon as you arrive, no pressure. The team is top-notch: always smiling, available, and especially very accommodating, whether it's for schedules, adjustments, or little unforeseen events. You can tell they really want everything to go well for their clients. This will already be my third season with them next year, and clearly, I have no desire to change.
