Hello. I repaired a leather steering wheel in April. I applied coats of stain and a coat of varnish. 8-10 days later I installed a steering wheel cover. I removed the steering-wheel cover about two weeks later and discovered the traces (prints) of the steering-wheel cover. I'll send you the photos. Nice to meet you. I used the nautical paint for my leatherette garden furniture. However, the foam roller is not suitable. You need a special lacquer roller. Magnificent rendering. I did 2 coats with the roller. It was a bit sticky. I bought some spray paint for the finish and the sticky effect disappeared. My sofas, which had lost their white color, are as good as new again.
