Unfortunately, 100% compatibility on synthetic surfaces does not exist, especially for furniture intended to be stored in public places. These often have non-flammable treatments that can cause problems. To achieve a good adhesion, it is absolutely necessary to properly prepare the surface, add a catalyst/hardener to the paint and varnish to achieve optimal adhesion and resistance to abrasion.
If you have any product left, it is not too late to order the catalyst and continue your renovation!
