Since deliveries are handled by an independent carrier, we unfortunately do not directly control the delivery conditions. We completely understand your concern. Our kibbles are not cooked above 130°C. Moreover, we have consulted our quality service to provide you with a reliable and factual response. Acrolein is mainly formed during cooking at much higher temperatures, particularly during frying or overheating fats. In our process, the manufacturing conditions are controlled and do not correspond to these situations. Finally, regarding your message that went unanswered, we are sorry. We do our best to respond quickly, but it can happen that some exchanges take a bit longer, especially when we request technical elements from our quality teams ??

We are sincerely sorry to learn that your cat did not appreciate our kibbles ?? Unfortunately, just like for us humans, it is difficult for 100% of cats to like them. At Tomojo, we are a small, young, and committed French company, and we really do our best to satisfy every companion (and their human ??). Our kibbles are 15 mm in diameter and suitable for most dogs, but we understand that some dogs with smaller jaws may have difficulties. The size is always indicated on our site to help you choose the product best suited to your companion.

Regarding the order you wanted to cancel, it was already sent and on its way to your home when you notified us, so you understand why we could not cancel it ?? Marie, it happens very often that cats suffer from neophobia when suddenly imposed with a new diet. For the transition to Tomojo, we recommend a food transition period of 2 to 3 weeks. Thank you for your feedback Elodie. Our motto every day at Tomojo is that we have nothing to hide. We never do transparency in small doses! As I mentioned in my email, it was an oversight on our part, which we corrected as soon as you informed us. You can see on our website (especially in our FAQ) that we do not hide the presence of hydrolyzed animal proteins in our kibble, it is indicated in all our product sheets. There was no bad intention on our part and I am sorry that you took it that way, even after seeing the response to your email.

We have made the decision to choose paper packaging (and not plastic) so that our entire process, from the production of kibbles to the moment you receive your package at home, works in favor of sustainable development. Regarding the packaging, this necessarily means that we take the risk of having issues, like the one you mentioned. In summer, we encounter sealing problems at the top of the package, which we have reported to our supplier. When you notify us, we certainly find a solution (usually sending a new package). Our treats are more expensive than average because insect protein is 4x more expensive than traditional meat. Moreover, the presence of cereals allows the treats to have a better texture, provide fibers (to improve digestion and facilitate transit + give better volume to stools) and proteins and trace elements/vitamins like iron for example.

Oh no Corinne ?? We have two recipes for cats: one without cereals and another with sorghum. If your cats didn't like the one without cereals, I can send you samples of our sorghum kibble to see if they prefer this one! The problem may also come from the dietary transition; you can try to make it last longer. It is very important for animals that are not familiar with insect protein and can turn out to be longer than expected for some animals. Regarding the price, our kibble is indeed more expensive than average not only because it is of superior quality but also because the cost of the raw material, the insect, is currently up to 4 times more expensive than traditional proteins.
