The cord required a "little" more time to get used to it, being a relative beginner, than a metal chain (which reacts faster when you are a beginner!). Nevertheless, once I got the hang of it, which was quite fast, it is very easy to use and very precise, which is very pleasant. The control chamber is a plus to work on some materials.
