Service too long for last order

Shipment arrived intact and on time.

We ordered a helicopter for our son. The packaging had already been opened once and the remote control was missing. Tears flowed at the birthday table. My son asks me every day if I have reached anyone at 1001 - unfortunately not. I am now getting the money back via Paypal. Never ever again.

Run away! Deadlines not met, customer service in freewheel mode: unable to do what's asked of them. A lot of stress and fruitless e-mail exchanges. A horror! All this to find myself running to find a replacement gift at the last minute, when I had ordered 2 items in March for an important birthday in June... Help!

Disappointed by the quality of the paint, throw away one can and the other will soon do the same.

I will definitely do more business with 1001 hobbies in the future. The selection is good, the prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. Shipping costs from Europe to the US were actually less than many US firms charge to ship in-country. My package arrived in two weeks, which is as good as or better than many US shippers, and outstanding for transatlantic shipping.

The models were a gift to my husband for his birthday so I payed the extra for them to be gift wrapped. However the gift wrap was a lot to be desired it looked liked they couldn’t be bothered so had to redo it. Otherwise quick and easy.

The website is very easy to navigate through to find what you are looking for. it has games that are not sold in other stores. the shipping was very fast.
