I will definitely do more business with 1001 hobbies in the future. The selection is good, the prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. Shipping costs from Europe to the US were actually less than many US firms charge to ship in-country. My package arrived in two weeks, which is as good as or better than many US shippers, and outstanding for transatlantic shipping.

The models were a gift to my husband for his birthday so I payed the extra for them to be gift wrapped. However the gift wrap was a lot to be desired it looked liked they couldn’t be bothered so had to redo it. Otherwise quick and easy.

The only remark is that I made a mistake with my order, it's for the strength of the cardboard, remember to double its thickness on the inside on the sides so that it doesn't deform under the weight of the other parcels. Logically, it's always the larger boxes that bear the weight of the smaller ones that are stored on top to transport them. But the models all arrived intact. Very good may be the cardboard big enough to protect the model boxes. But it bent under the weight of the other packages. I think that by adding double the thickness to the contours on the inside, this type of parcel will no longer fear the extra weight.

Order was uncomplicated and arrived quite quickly. However, the contents were dirty/dusty.

Telephone service is unreachable, so lousy if you want to respond to your order. After returning to the mail, there is still no response after over a week. Bad service I think ... The order was delivered, unfortunately with a damaged box. Again, due to the aforementioned, I can not make contact.
