No order confirmation e-mail, as in the past.

Apart from the fact that there was no visibility of the delivery date on the order (which was marked "in stock", then "in stock from:", indicating a new date), the product arrived relatively quickly (and earlier than the date indicated following the change described above), and in perfect condition.

Ordered paint specifically as the web site (and my order details) stated it was in stock. Two weeks after order I enquired about the delay, an update was told 1001Hobbies was still getting some paint from their supplier (I.e. not “in stock”). Three weeks after order I requested a refund as there was no progress, but was told that a refund was not possible as my order was now being compiled. Order was finally delivered more than 4 weeks after the order was made (and after I had given up waiting and purchased the paint from elsewhere.). I was not impressed!

The web address is misleading, it seems as if they are a UK company with a .UK address. However they ship from France which, other than the time factor was not an issue due to the low value of my purchase. Had I bought an expensive item, I would have found myself liable to import duty and Vat, adding considerably to the cost I think their website should be clearer regarding the country of shipping.

Long delivery time, relatively expensive and the quality of the model leaves a lot to be desired.

I found a hard to get conversion kit at 1001 Hobbies. This shop has a lot in stock and my order arrived promptly and I would absolutely buy from this shop again.

Product was poorly packaged and one item was damaged. It appeared to be damaged before it was shipped. They nevered offered to refund anything but a small $14 shipping fee. Pretty sad
