I required a new battery pack for my r/c Revell Digger and found them available at 1001 Hobbies. The order was placed and very quickly I find I'm running my digger again! No hassle. No delays. No wonder I shall be presenting my custom again when required. Pleased to award five stars for a five star service.

I was initially impressed by the great price. So I ordered immediately. Then searched for reviews and....oh shock found many negative ones. Waited and checked the shipment status again and again. Suddenly it said "not available". Checked the website and found out that the kit would not be available for another week, even if ordered immediately. I waited and...got lucky! and received the kit at the end of the week after all, which means a delivery time of two weeks, which is understandable when you know that they are based in France and not in Germany as the name suggests! Conclusion: Despite the tempting prices and the low postage, not necessarily the first choice when ordering.

Eduard kit arrived on time and on target, but packaging was merely bubble wrap over an un-shrink wrapped flimsey Eduard box. This packaging is insufficent for travel to Canada. The box was damaged, the contents visible to the delivery system, but somehow, it survived contact with reality and got to me.
