I live in America and bought an item from 1001hobbies. I’d never heard of the site before so I was sort of apprehensive about ordering, but I bit the bullet and went ahead with my order anyway since I couldn’t find the item I was ordering anywhere else.
In the end, I did end up getting my order about 2 weeks later through the economy shipping option. My item came from France, so the long shipping times are understandable, though tracking stopped updating once it left France, which would have been nice.
I never received any shipping updates after that, including when my package was delivered; it just kind of showed up one day without a notification of delivery of any kind. Still, my order arrived within the specified timeframe and the undamaged.
In short, if you’re a US buyer who’s unsure about whether or not to buy from 1001hobbies, I’d say go for it if you’re willing to put up with the sparse shipping updates and the 2+ week shipping times.

Good experience although the shipping was very slow and the packaging unsuitable. The box (too large for the contents) arrived completely open, stuffed into a bag by the shipper. Fortunately, the contents were not damaged or lost. A regular padded envelope would have been a better packing system.
Other than this inconvenience, nothing to complain about.

Bad. Products never arrived. They ship from France with untracked shipping. After a one month wait, with excuses that are neither in heaven nor on earth from customer care, I had to ask for a refund through PayPal. I will never buy anything from them again! They do not deserve even one star.
