Everything went smoothly order arrival in time
Goods were confirmed as in stock, paid for - then email: not in stock after all. To top it all off: No refund of the payment but a voucher was offered. All I can say about this is: absolutely lousy business practices.

Horrible experience This was a HORRIBLE experience. I ordered a book December 31, 2014. My order was processed immediately. I got the book today January 24, 2015. Almost a month later. Supposedly the book was coming from a depot in Europe and had some additional information required by Customs. That is BOGUS. If you don't have the book in stock for immediate delivery, say so. From now on, will use (external reference) in England. Never had problems with them. Will NEVER EVER use this vendor again. Asked for updates on status on the 16th and did not hear back for a week. This was a Horrible experience. Finished the model that I was buying the book as a reference for the day before the book arrived as I had pretty much given up on getting the book. Will never use this company again.

Good models, lackluster service, long wait times. This was a less than pleasurable experience due to the lengthy delivery time - 27 days. My order was processed immediately and charged almost immediately on my credit card, this after the shipping rates were raised for some reason to a different price, which was higher than the quoted price when I pressed the button to complete my order. I was upset at that incident for days after the order. A week later, after filing an inquiry twice online, received a message that I would receive a voucher for the difference in price...I'll never use it, but why not just make the adjustment on this order Poor customer service in my opinion. I received no info or updates until the item was shipped in this country, three weeks later, from the post office tracking. Parcel arrived with some damage to the side of the box, with damage to one of the model boxes inside...but thankfully the model was not harmed. I find it amazing that there was no packaging or filler inside to protect the items inside the box, as with other model companies with every shipment. I order something from the next state over and the box has newspaper, Styrofoam peanuts, plastic bubble rap...something! But something comes from France and no filler whatsoever...hmmm. I'm not impressed with the service, but the price was better than some places here, however, I will never use your services again.

Order placed on Jan 5 for an accessory announced to be in stock Shipping time announced to be 5 to 6 days Delivery on Jan 14 Received on Jan 24 Any comment is useless Except that I will not recommend this site to my friends at the flying club I belong to.
I placed an order on Sunday on the site for a B-19 model in 148 scale to be received before the weekend so that I could give it as a gift the following Sunday, and I received my package on time, but with a box of 4 model airplanes that I don't want in 172 scale... The error being human, I notified the site the same day, i.e. the Thursday of receipt, and after an hour I received a message asking me if I had opened the box and if I could attach a photo of it. Immediately I reply that the box is still well sealed and a photo accompanies the message. And now I'm angry because since then there's been no news, no apologies, no quick resolution and not even a word to reassure their customer, which is disappointing. I was supposed to give this model to an enthusiast tomorrow and I'll have to do without it. I find it regrettable to remain silent for 3 days when a small to find a quick and simple way out.... I'm still waiting for an answer
Earlier this week I bought 4 cans of model paint and I'm still waiting for delivery.
1001 models provides a good service via mail allowing even hard-to-find products to be found. Average prices but somewhat high shipping costs leading to a sometimes high final cost.
The order was processed quickly - the parcel was tracked and delivered on time - on receipt the parcel was damaged, but I scoured it anyway - on opening it turned out that one of the model's fins was broken, and I had to glue it back in place. The forwarder (colissimo) didn't take much care of the parcel, but the model's packaging was too light for this type of model (the model touches the cardboard directly, without any protection, especially on the front - this is unacceptable!) I'm quite surprised by the packaging, and you could have taken more precautions. So I have mixed feelings about this purchase. I had another purchase in mind for the same kind of model, but I'm reluctant to buy on the internet, as I'm a very good buyer.
Slow prepa on the other hand ok delivery may be bad order tracking
Perfect in seven days I got the shipment and with weekend in between by regular mail. No surprises what you see in the pictures is what you get. I will buy again as soon as possible.

Model paints Of the 6 paints that I ordered one was wrong. Delivery took long time but it may have been fault of USPS. Send email with complaint (there is no phone number available). Took 3 days to respond but got credit without any questions. Had to pay some extra for shipping but only pennies. Delivery of replacement was fast and color was the correct one.

Do not waste your time or money Fast to take your money, but slow to get you your order, I think they ship by sail boat, I placed my order on 1/10 and it is now 2/11 and I have still not gotten my order. This is the most I ever paid for shipping, and the longest I have ever waited. It seems that this problem is a common concern with US customers, Their response to e-mails seem to be the same for every customer, it was interesting that an early reply was ""crossing the Atlantic"" followed two weeks later by ""sent back by French customs"" I would not suggest this company to anyone.

I'm delighted with this second order
I preferred it when there were pages in the figurines category at the 172nd and for the other sizes too we knew which page to go back to when we had added a box of figurines to the basket whereas now we have to click again on the category and the desired size the time to receive a parcel is perhaps a little long there are also figurines that are not in stock and that we would like to be able to buy otherwise it remains a very long delay.

I ordered two trumpeter showcases that were supposed to be in stock, and after several weeks I received one showcase. No big deal, I was given a credit note for the second display case (which was not available). I ordered it as soon as it was available, the price wasn't the same and I had to pay postage a second time. I would have liked the postage not to have been charged to me, as I was not responsible for the non-delivery when I placed the order.
