My first experience with 1001 Modelkits. My first purchase with 1001 Modelkits was, as with all online buying experiences, a leap of faith. I was purchasing a photo-etch add-on for a model kit I was planning on building soon. 1001 Modelkits website was easy to navigate, and I quickly found what I needed. I paid for my purchase via Paypal and hoped for the best. Every step of the process was confirmed by email, from my ordering on 3/13/2015, my purchase shipping, it's delivery to 1001 Modelkit's U.S. distribution center, to it arriving at my doorstep on 3/28/2015. My purchase was professionally packaged and was in great shape when I opened it. My first experience with 1001 Modelkits was an excellent one, they are fast and professional. I will definitely be purchasing items from them in the future, Thanks 1001 Modelkits!

Disappointment I was very disappointed with my experience. First, I waited several weeks before I was told they could not fulfill my order, but I was not told what was not being filled. Then I only ended up receiving four of twelve items I ordered. Store credit given but a lot of time wasted waiting to do a project that I was trying to do. I will look elsewhere next time.

I am completely satisfied with the goods, the store system and the actual ordering process. I couldn't find the goods here in Germany in such a complete form in any other store, which is why I chose this store, which was unknown to me at the time. You constantly receive status updates about your order, which is very good in principle, but sometimes also quite pointless, up to three times a day and then such meaningless information as ""will be shipped soon"". You can save yourself that if you use meaningful and sensible statuses because as a customer I am not interested in the fact that ""soon"" (when??) will be shipped and then days go by until something finally happens! As a customer, you wonder whether the parcel is already waiting in the corner somewhere. Receipt of the order - order processed - outgoing mail - that would be enough. In addition, the delivery time of 12 (!!) days for goods that were in stock was unfortunately far too slow by today's standards. I have even received goods faster from the USA and Japan. Within Germany, goods in stock should be dispatched on the next working day but no later than the day after next, i.e. they should reach the recipient in around 3 - 5 days. Anything else is simply out of date and not professional.

Perhaps the packaging needs to be reworked for better protection, as the model box I bought crushed the car's frame - nothing irreparable, but I hope it won't show once.

I purchased two models that were received in a short period of time

Very bad experience concerning my order. I waited three weeks for my parcel and it took me several emails to be informed of the progress of my order. I was given a tracking number that was totally unusable. So for the moment I don't recommend this site, but I'll try the others and compare. It's also possible that there was a problem, in which case he could have told me.

Adding miniatures when you are a model site. Slt I find ridiculous that you associate miniatures with models to assemble I am disappointed with my last purchase. I still haven't had a reply to my complaint e-mail of last week. My only positive point is the diversity of the models.
