We apologize for the delivery delay linked to the worldwide shortage of electronic components which affected our operations in 2023.
This situation is now solved and we have also taken the necessary steps to avoid that it happens again.
Regarding the import duty, we regret that you missed this information that is indicated on our website. Indeed, since Brexit we are not allowed to collect VAT tax for UK customers anymore.
In the end, rest assured that you have paid the same amount than a EU based customer.

VERY Disappointed with V4 Pro. Records in batches and continuity doesn't go seamlessly. Very bad. Cambox have no solution to this issue. Old 1st Cambox version was better than this one. Wasted my money upgrading 🙁

1st point;
Concerning the delay, like many companies we are impacted by the shortage of electronic components which unfortunately delayed your delivery.
2nd point
During our telephone conversation you told us that your package had been opened by customs. We explained to you that inside the packaging you should have found 3 cardboard boxes, instead you found only one. One of these boxes contained the USB-C cord. As already explained, we are not responsible for this loss due to the opening of the package by customs.
3rd point
To apologize for the inconvenience, we had offered as an accessory velcro for additional fixation. Once again, this lack of product is not our fault.
In summary, we had done everything possible to satisfy you, and we regret the severity of your opinion in view of the context.

I purchased a Cambox V4 Pro for use on open top race cars. The product is velcroed to the fabric that covers the polyurethane helmet structure inside the visor. Unfortunately, with heat and vibration, the fabric comes off with the Cambox and falls off obstructing visibility. It's clear how dangerous this is if it happens during competition. I reported the problem but after an email where they said they would check it out, 20 days went by and still no response. I asked to try to fix it using the velcro that is applied to the piece inside the fabric and asked if it was possible to get it for free but of course nothing was sent to me. I then proceeded to buy, at my expense, two velcro for 33,30€ but as of June 20, shipping date, I still don't have the product because Fed-ex lost the package..... I am desperate .

I ordered the camera on 4th April and paid £12.99 for FedEx 2 day delivery. After 10 days I emailed cambox to ask why my camera had not been delivered but I did not receive a reply. I emailed again after another 3 days had passed - still no reply. The camera arrived on 19th April. I’ve not used the camera yet.

I’ve had the camera for a week and am still waiting for help with setting the time. I also had to reset the camera to get in to work when it first arrived. Would be great if the camera’s were sent out in a useable condition to start with.

Following BREXIT, now any product purchased in Europe for delivery in the UK is duty-free. The UK tax is then requested by the carrier at the time of delivery of the product to your home.

Don't worry, the cost of buying your Cambox is ultimately the same as for a European.
Here is the detail example below :

EU customer Buy the product Cambox Origin at €275 including VAT (including €46VAT)

UK customer Buy the product from Cambox duty-free, i.e. €230 without VAT + 20% taxes to FEDEX at the time of delivery, which will be paid to the British state.

In both cases, the customer will have bought his Cambox product at the same price.

Don't hesitate if you need more explain.
