First of all, we are delighted to read that you like our perfumes, and as for their staying power, it's hard to say that they don't hold up: our fragrances are eaux de parfum, which means that they contain a fairly high concentration of perfume that has allowed them to seduce thousands of noses for over 30 years. On the other hand, several elements can explain this impression:
- Some fragrances are designed to be powerful and leave a trail behind you (e.g. ippi patchouli, kilim, so, vanilla, 555 or even label rose) and others are created with the intention of making intimate fragrances, for those who prefer discreet scents (musk, original musk or alõ for example).
- The other very important factor is your skin: each skin is different and will "drink" a perfume more or less quickly. If this is your case, we recommend perfuming your hair or your clothes for example, on which the perfume will last longer.
- Finally, the format of our samples, which are equipped with an ear bud and not a spray bottle, may explain this feeling. The spray bottle makes it easier to dose and distribute the fragrance on the skin, improving the staying power of the fragrance.

Before buying I asked for advice. I am looking for a perfume similar to Ambre sultan by Serge Luthens. I was advised So which could probably be mixed! I was disappointed when I opened and tried this perfume which for me is very feminine!

I remember well our conversation Raphaël and I'm sorry you find SO too feminine for your taste. As explained in the chat SO is worn by both men and women among our customers, but it is true that perfume is very subjective and we don't always have the same definition of gender. Perhaps you should have ordered our Discovery Pack first, but I'm at least reassured that you seem to like the musk eau de parfum that you also ordered. I am disappointed by the ippy patchouli perfume, too strong a scent for my taste, and I have trouble finding the patchouli ... the sample of ippy patchoul clair would suit me a little better. I don't like Enkor at all, neither in perfume nor in incense, but I like So a lot. Sincerely Corine

We are sorry to read that it was not love at first sight with ippi patchouli. I can confirm that the patchouli is indeed present, in a natural form and coming from Indonesia. If the eau de parfum is too intense for your taste, feel free to spray (in moderation) your clothes or above you for example to create a mist that will delicately perfume you.
