Hello… I’ve been a patchouli enthusiast since the… 1970s!! I would have thought Ippi Patchouli would be more old-fashioned rather than modern and sharp. I think the top note is too strong, and the ingredients sound too scientific… what a shame.

Hello, Mezian. We’re the first to regret that our fragrance hasn’t completely won you over, but what do you mean by “modern” and “ingredients that sound too scientific”? This fragrance hasn’t changed since it was created in 1988. Natural Indonesian patchouli makes up more than 40% of its formula, and it showcases patchouli’s woody, earthy, damp notes. That said, it’s true that the way a fragrance is perceived can vary from one person to another, depending on the fragrances we know and our individual sensitivities.
