Great Quality, Bridge, Nut and Benders. Would recommend.

Really well engineered piece of equipment, I have yet to install in the lap steel I am building but I'm sure it will meet all expectations. The only reason I give Certano a four star rating, should really be four and a half stars, is that I received an email stating my order had been completed, but it did not state if it was shipped and if so it did not have a tracking number. I was basically in Limbo, but I emailed Certano and David responded quickly by email with the DHL tracking number. It would have saved some time and effort on both of us if the tracking number was first included. Overall, I am very satisfied with the company and the product is just a great piece of engineering. Thanks, Don Mack producer/engineer/musician/actor.

I highly recommend Certano Lap steels. First class hardware and great craftsmanship. It arrived with perfect setup and so well packaged that it was almost still in tune. A nice gigbag is also included.

Great customer service, I actually ordered the wrong parts and Mr Certano emailed me and guided me to the correct pieces for my guitar, (which turned out to be less expensive for me). He could have sent the stuff and kept the$ but he didn’t. The parts I have fit perfectly and I’m very happy!

A MUST-HAVE! Excellent product, you can see the work of a meticulous craftsman. The design is ingenious and easy to install thanks to the very precise instructions. This is the second lap steel I've installed it on, and I think I'll soon be tempted to install it on a Telecaster. Thank you to David Certano for creating this magnificent object. I recommend it 100%!

Great bender and roller bridge for my 8-string lap steel guitar. Very friendly and fast contact, extremely good craftsmanship.

Well designed and made. Good support on questions. Roller bridge and Benders fit nicely on my Epiphone Lap Steel guitar. Works well. I use C6 tuning and A to A# and C to C# with the Benders.

The benders work really well. The install was pretty easy and they are excellent quality. The roller bridge is really good too. The support was fantastic, while I was figuring out what I needed. Already gigging with them. 5 Stars for sho

Very high quality instrument with a rich sound. The benders are fun and useful and the tuning bolts are a great feature. The communication was also very good throughout the whole process.

I just started with the lap steel about a month ago. I purchased a Gretsch G5700 and learned about the Certano benders from my "Lessons With Troy." Troy has a complete set of lessons (over 30!), dedicated to installation, tuning and playing with the Certano benders. After watching those videos, I knew I just had to have them. When they arrived, I just followed David Certano's exquisite installation instructions and had them installed and tuned in less than 2 hours. Now, I'm absolutely enthralled with the ability to make my Gretsch sound like a pedal steel, with the benders. When I have had questions about my benders, I just email David Certano and I get a reply within a few hours, even though he is in France. He is a true craftsman and the Certano benders confirm that! Exquisite design, craftsmanship and quality of materials make these superior to anything else on the market! I'm now, charting all my favorite country songs and am learning them. This is SO MUCH fun!! Oh, and BTW, I'm 76 years young and this has given me a great way to keep my mind sharp and my hand-eye coordination in top shape! Thank you, David Certano!

Works well. The thing that bothered me about it was that it immediately started to chew through my expensive Rutters brass saddles. I took it off my guitar immediately as well. I will try it again but using a spare set of steel saddles. No slam on the product, it works very nicely however I have one Telecaster and the sound of the brass saddle setup is my prefered sound so it was disappointing to have it not work well with my carefully chosen saddle material.

The Certano Lap Steel C.L.1 is awesome! It’s extremely simple: one pickup, one volume knob, no fancy design or anything, except for the benders, the killer feature and the reason for getting this in the first place. They work amazingly well. They take a little getting used to, but paired with a volume pedal, they turn you into a pedal steel player, which opens up all sorts of sonic possibilities. I can’t wait to dig in and explore the possibilities for my next recording project. One thing to note for folks ordering from the US, you will need to pay import duties on top of the item and shipping costs.

These are fantastic! I liked them so much that bought another kit! These are very high quality benders.

I am very much enjoying my new Certano Lap Steel C.L.1. Build quality is AAA+. Solid as a rock perhaps with a country blues twang. Love the benders. If your a guitar player who has a lap steel in mind, definitely try one. Dave Adelaide
