I was already using a stainless steel pan but I must say that the De Buyer pan is of much better quality. The pan reaches the right temperature quite quickly and the food cooks well. Highly recommended.

I have Mauviel too but I must admit I prefer De Buyer, the Mauviel copper handle heats up during cooking, not with De Buyer
