After many years of cooking on plastic-coated aluminum (the Tefal lobby that doesn't stick), I've just rediscovered real frying pan cooking (my grandmothers' frying pans). Well-prepared, with culottes and special attention to maintenance, the cooking and taste are nothing to sneeze at. Fried eggs, fried potatoes... I was already familiar with Mineral B steel pans and it's because I like them that I ordered more. Perfect for searing steaks, but also for pancakes and omelettes. It's important to follow the instructions (basting, use, maintenance) as this is not a non-stick or stainless steel pan.
