Very good but a bit expensive

De Buyer products are unquestionably among the best.

We bought this fait tout as a wedding gift. We paid over 140€ and clearly didn't read the descriptive very well. It came without a lid...who sells a fait tout without a lid....and for that amount of money? Shameful.

Received the appliance quickly. Use not easy to make good experience with the gougères but bcp of evil with the small shortbread! They don't come off the tube! To be continued... Sincerely Alice ossart

Perfect products and impeccable delivery

We didn't keep these heavy pans, which scorched on the first cooking despite observing the start-up rules, which exclude too many ingredients from the cooking process. Totally unsuitable for our domestic cooking and baking. We regret this purchase.

Very good product The packaging is just exaggerated for 3 stoves I received as many boxes as for 3 pieces of ikea furniture.

A suggestion: perhaps it would be a good idea to adapt the oversized packaging to the product.

The previous reviews have been very helpful to me, so I'll keep mine up to date. There's a lot to say on the subject of cooking food, the materials used for utensils etc., it can be quite a headache to reconcile the health and practical aspects. Not being too used to cast iron, I turned to stainless steel, which seems to be a healthy, versatile and practical alternative. I can confirm that this de Buyer frying pan is of good quality, it's also aesthetically pleasing, and I'm very proud of our French know-how, we should be mass-consuming our quality products coming from real home-grown know-how. The price is higher, of course, but it's solid and lasts a long time, I suppose. I'll just have to see if I can clean it with white vinegar. As far as cooking is concerned, it's true that it can stick quite easily, but with oil and possibly deglazing, it seems to me that you can do quite a lot with it (just starting to use it for the moment). In the future, I may also try cast iron and steel. As for the size, it's relatively large, so it's a pretty useful size.
