The edges of the plates must have been cleaned because the adhesive was melted around the edges of the plates.

Hello, I was disappointed with my order because I wanted parts of 167/158cm and I received 167mm and 158mm. It's my fault because I didn't check that the software had returned my order in mm. The price seemed reasonable to me but not for such small parts.

I paid 24 euros more to get the plates as soon as possible, but it wasn't like that. I received them last Friday; I had already left.
I ordered 2 aluminium plates. On each piece, the 2 faces have fairly deep scratches. I'd need at least one clean side to make an amplifier front panel.

This means that it may present imperfections, including scratches of varying depths, depending on the condition of the plate at the time of dispatch.
This material is mainly intended for uses where aesthetics are not a priority, and it is indeed possible that one side may be less clean than the other.

The parcel conforms to my order and is very well packaged.... but TNT has made this experience very bad: TNT called me to tell me that they couldn't find my address (Amazon, Chronopost ... have no problem), and this without even going out...and they left the parcel with me in a shop more than 20 kms away (there and back). Having paid for home delivery, I find this way of treating customers deplorable! Change delivery company!

There were scratches on my coin

I ordered a small steel plate to make the top of a table: it arrived scratched and with impressions of cogs that must have been placed on it. No protective film was affixed to it, even though this is clearly indicated on the website. No doubt I must have benefited from a fall that must have been lying around...
Perfect cutting, delivery time and packaging BUT "home" delivery never arrived...at home!

Delivery time...too long
The product conforms to the order but the delivery was deplorable. No compensation offered.
Unfortunately, in times of high demand, carriers tend to simplify their deliveries.
To do this, they use point-relays for items that are scheduled for home delivery.
We try to prevent this, but our remedies are limited.
Rather well done interface, but I received parts that didn't conform to the preview and to my expectations (wrong brushing direction for stainless steel). Apparently it's my fault, so too bad for me. I'm going to have the parts redone, but elsewhere 🙁

Don't blame the delivery for something that can't be done. 2 trips at 20 minutes for a parcel that could have been delivered to my letterbox.
I ordered and received 4 aluminium door covers for a very high price of about 90. I expected to receive a high-quality product with an impeccable finish. This is absolutely not the case, as all 4 plates are scratched and the cut-outs are not even smoothed. This is simply scandalous.
Very good telephone contact and correct delivery, but the color of the raw steel on the site (brown) is completely different from that of the part received (gray)... The dimensions are correct, but there are also numerous scratches and a 3mm dent caused by an impact on the top of the part. Cdlt,
Check the quality of products as they leave your premises, so that customers do not need to carry out additional finishing operations.
A little too expensive compared to other sites i've been ordering from john steel for a few years (i'm aware of the increase in material) the price is getting more and more expensive
I liked the multiple customization possibilities (although the software isn't very practical, I must admit, and I'm a 3d designer), the speed of delivery and the price. On the other hand, I'm a bit disappointed with the state of finish, the board wasn't perfectly flat, there were slight height differences on the different pieces of finger-jointed wood. It's a shame it took me hours of sanding to improve the condition. In the end, it's fine, but I could have done without it.
5/5 for cutting quality and technical expertise. 2/5 for delivery service and order tracking. An external service provider that seriously damages this company's brand image. Impossible to reach anyone from "JohnSteel" on the website's telephone number. I left several messages on 0 800 746 548 and was never called back. What a shame!
The quality and finish are perfect. The problem is the deadline, which was important to me. There are 3 possible deadlines, so the customer thinks that the dates are respected, and that's not the case.
Cutting error on their part from JohnSteel, offer of a 5 credit on the next order... No real solution offered. It's a shame, the quality was there...
