The waffles are good but I have a lot of trouble detaching them from the machine at the end of cooking. I will have to try putting more butter next time. Nevertheless, I am happy with my purchase as the machine seems solid.

To facilitate the unmolding of the waffles, you can indeed try lightly buttering the plates before cooking or incorporating a bit of fat into your waffle batter. Delicious waffles, with the choice of crispy or soft. Like at the fair. A little improvement advice: I make waffles for breakfast and the ringing is loud and not very pleasant in the morning when some are still sleeping. A sound adjustment knob and an immediate stop when opening the waffle maker. And a timer of 1min30 to know when to flip the waffle maker.

I discovered afterwards that if instead of addressing Lagrange directly I had bought from an online sales site, I would have paid 20€ less per set of plates. Too bad for my concern about buying French directly...
