I just made some wafers and: your dough recipe makes it difficult to spread on the grids and ultimately have rectangular wafers. Moreover, you need to tighten the handles of the device so that the waffle grids are pressed together... as if they were thicker than the croque monsieur or waffle grids

Seen on Amazon and bought on the Lagrange site. The device is nothing compared to our old Moulinex waffle maker. We enjoy making good waffles with or without the kids. If it overflows, it stays on the plate and not in the body of the product. Product to recommend.
