The waffles are good but I have a lot of trouble detaching them from the machine at the end of cooking. I will have to try putting more butter next time. Nevertheless, I am happy with my purchase as the machine seems solid.

Delicious waffles, with the choice of crispy or soft. Like at the fair. A little improvement advice: I make waffles for breakfast and the ringing is loud and not very pleasant in the morning when some are still sleeping. A sound adjustment knob and an immediate stop when opening the waffle maker. And a timer of 1min30 to know when to flip the waffle maker.

I discovered afterwards that if instead of addressing Lagrange directly I had bought from an online sales site, I would have paid 20€ less per set of plates. Too bad for my concern about buying French directly...

Quality product but during use, the horrible smell that comes out raises doubts about the composition of the plastics used!!! Acrid solvent smell??? It's a shame.
Thank you for your feedback. It is normal for your device to emit a smell during the first use. This may come from paraffin residues present on the heating elements during manufacturing. As indicated in the manual, it is recommended to let the device heat up for a few minutes empty before preparing your first waffles. This step helps dissipate these odors and ensures safe use. After this first heating, you should no longer smell any unpleasant odor and can fully enjoy your device.
