I use it to neutralize my tap water (so I don't have to buy mineral water). 5 pieces well wrapped when put in water, they have no taste, but it disinfects anything that could be toxic

The 6 sticks were cheaper than the Black & Blum ones I usually order on the sansbpa site, but they are almost half the size. Quite disappointed with the small size which is only mentioned in grams so misleading. Lots of black residue before and after boiling it, rinse thoroughly! I have not yet tested its effectiveness. Delivery in 24h.

At home we have several water filtration systems to avoid buying bottles as much as possible. I have already been able to test these charcoal sticks and the use is really simple, you have to boil them in water between 10 and 20 minutes before using them.The water has no taste, it loses the smell of chlorine that it can have when it comes out of the tap as well as the taste a little chalky.par account in view of the size of the sticks that are still quite small compared to what I have already used I find the price a hair excessive even if it lasts several months to purchase it remains a cost.the sticks at the end of use they are compostable therefore recyclable.

I think that I will not drink any more tap water without it having been filtered by activated carbon, really effective and we find the taste of water

The product was received quickly and well packaged. I have been using it for 15 days now and there is no taste in the water and the stick is not crumbling for the moment. It would indicate that each stick would last 2 months with a cleaning before use and every month. To know about the effectiveness indicated in the description, nothing proves it to us without analysis but in any case, the water of the tap in a carafe with the stick during 4 hours does not have any taste nor of smell and seems better than without.it is a gain for our health and our budget because more need to buy heavy packs of water.

The water has a better after more than 20 months of use. The charcoal has its effect well respected the monthly cleaning.

I used to use bamboo charcoal in my carafe, but this product, which is more reputable, differs only slightly:- smaller sticks, so easier to use even in a narrow container- comparable price- much more solid. It's interesting because it avoids having bits of charcoal lying around at the bottom of the carafe- as efficient, but not more so- the fact that it comes from the other side of the world takes away a lot of ecology, especially since there's no shortage of oak in France (but does it have the same properties?) In the end, it works, the water is much better, but ecologically it's not great and at 200€ per kilo, it's a good deal! (fortunately, charcoal for barbecue is cheaper [and maybe as efficient ? we should try ...] !)
