Although it says that the stick sizes can vary, there were 4 very small sticks out of the 6, including 2 tiny ones. Instead of one stick per liter of water, you have to use 3! The efficiency of water purification is not obvious either, the water keeps an aftertaste even after 24 hours at rest.

I live in an area with very hard water. The beads worked well in the water pitcher, in the coffee machine tank, and in the dishwasher. For the electric kettle they didn't work well, but I put a bottle of water with beads next to it that I use to fill the kettle.

For a long time now, I have eliminated disposable plastic bottles from my daily life.In my region, the water is very hard, I used to use a carafe filter, but the design of the filters posed a problem: they are bulky, expensive, and above all... plastic + disposable!!! These ceramic beads allow a 100% ecological alternative to this practice.How many to put? How to use them? What is the principle? The pearls intervene directly on the structure of the water to make it purer. They are composed of a clay enriched with micro-organisms. The 80 strains they contain eliminate chlorine, limestone and most of the harmful residues contained in tap water. When first used, boil them for 10 minutes and dry them. Place the pearls at the bottom of the carafe for 10 minutes in the water before drinking it. Then, you can leave them permanently in a bottom of water by supplementing as you go along. The ideal is to have two carafes, one being activated with the pearls while you drink the other.Contrary to the charcoal filters of the carafes which store the residues, these pearls do not require any maintenance and their life expectancy is unlimited. We have been fans of these pieces of charcoal for a few years now, which allow us to purify water. The technique is very simple. Since we have abandoned plastic bottles, they are ideal companions. However, it is necessary to let the water rest for several hours for it to be effective. This is the only drawback of this technique.

I have been using these sticks for 2 years and I find that the quality is decreasing. The sticks break at the first use and it is not practical to go and get the pieces at the bottom of the jar....

I love the taste of water with these bamboo filters, so much more effective than the ceramic beads that they try to sell us as "eternal" and which break and do not prevent limestone as advertised, here the sticks are valid for 6 months (actually 5 following my first purchase) we can recycle the charcoal in the plants afterwards. it filters well, the water looks softer

Not aggressive for dental hygiene natural product, I highly recommend it.

Small compact box with 50 pearls to remove limestone. I put in the carafe after having filtered the water with the carbon and a part that is to say 10 in the kettle because the water of my city is very calcareous. The result is positive!

I thought I could reduce the chlorine taste but unfortunately it is too strong. I am in one of the regions of France where it is the strongest... too bad because the concept is good.
