So, to follow the instructions: I peeled with a peeler the skin to leave about 1cm of stick without bark. Then, I chewed it to soften the fibers: it has a little salty taste, not unpleasant but surprising (I expected maybe a licorice taste, like the licorice sticks to chew, lol).once the fibers are softened, you just have to rub your teeth from top to bottom for 5mn, and to rinse the stick with water once finished. It is necessary to rewet the stick before each brushing.so already, 5 minutes of brushing, it is long! Compared to the 2 minutes for a classic brushing or with an electric toothbrush... there is no saving of time, on the contrary. No need of toothpaste: better than for the classic brushing.Freshens the breath: it's true, but it also works with a classic toothpaste.Whitens the teeth: not sure, to be seen on the long term.Reusable: when the fibers are damaged, there is only to cut the damaged part, and to reproduce the operation of the beginning. But it still costs 25€! It's maybe a lot to spend at once (that said, if you buy an electric toothbrush, you can explode the budget!).Alternative to the toothbrush: there, I am less sure. Indeed, if it is easy to use it for the front teeth from top to bottom, it is much more difficult to make the back teeth, the back of the teeth, and the top.the classic toothbrushes have all the fibers on the side, and not at the end, which is not a chance. So, my opinion: it does not completely replace the toothbrush, but it is a good complement in alternation, or in breakdown service when one is in displacement, it is very well. In massage of the gums also, that can make them good. It can also amuse your kids (if they don't mind the taste), but you still have to teach them to brush the back of their teeth and the top.
Works great! I don't have to descale my espresso machine too often, just put the beads in the water tank of the coffee machine and the scale will be dissolved and absorbed by the beads
I use a kettle at work every day to heat my tea and other herbal teas, and another kettle at home for my evening tea.The water is rather hard and the deposits that inevitably get in the bottom of the kettle.Of course, I should also think about emptying the stagnant water every day! The bottom of my kettles had traces of limescale. At home I followed the procedure to prepare the beads and make them usable.I heated the water in the kettle, put all the beads in a small pot and immersed them in the boiling water for a good 10 minutes, then dried them on paper towels and they were ready to go! I put 15 of them in each kettle.Since they have been in place, not only is the limescale no longer deposited, but the last remaining residue in the bottom has disappeared, no more pieces of limescale getting stuck in the kettle's filter.I am really satisfied with this product.I hope that my comment will be useful in your decision?
I was a bit skeptical but it does the job, it's quite efficient although I'm still a fan of the electric toothbrush. I'm not ready to adopt it exclusively for brushing but it is true that it must be quite acceptable. An interesting alternative.
These ceramic beads are useful in many areas, including all machines that use water, such as coffee makers, kettles, teapots, etc. Of course, dishwashers and washing machines, although I have not tried them on the latter machine because I am afraid that the repeated shocks would cause the beads to crumble... But I use them in my two flush toilets.Tired of constantly seeing streaks of limescale under the rims of the toilet bowl that do not go away when the brush passes over them, streaks that become thick over time and that I have to break with a screwdriver to get rid of them, I placed these pearls in a small mesh bag at the bottom of the flush and then I cleaned the last traces of limescale accumulated under the rims.Since then, I haven't had any more reappearance of these limescale clusters and, at the same time, my toilet flushes better because it is not diverted by the misplaced limescale clusters. It's really efficient and precious in areas particularly invaded by this damn limescale.
Ok
It's new, it's green but I'm still very skeptical! It feels like a Koh Lanta moment when you rub your teeth with these little pieces of wood! Once the twig is a bit sharp, you have to chew it to separate the filaments. The taste is strange but not strong. The filaments rub well on the surface of the teeth and they stay smooth afterwards. I find that these Siwak sticks offer a nice alternative as a backup. At work, before a meeting, it's always useful to know that we don't have a food stuck without our knowledge. A quick brushing and that's it... My teeth have not whitened as advertised...
For a long time now, I have eliminated disposable plastic bottles from my daily life.In my region, the water is very hard, I used to use a carafe filter, but the design of the filters posed a problem: they are bulky, expensive, and above all... plastic + disposable!!! These ceramic beads allow a 100% ecological alternative to this practice. How many to put? How to use them? What is the principle? The pearls intervene directly on the structure of the water to make it purer. They are composed of a clay enriched with micro-organisms. The 80 strains they contain eliminate chlorine, limestone and most of the harmful residues contained in tap water. When first used, boil them for 10 minutes and dry them. Place the pearls at the bottom of the carafe for 10 minutes in the water before drinking it. Then, you can leave them permanently in a bottom of water by supplementing as you go along. The ideal is to have two carafes, one being activated with the pearls while you drink the other.Contrary to the charcoal filters of the carafes which store the residues, these pearls do not require any maintenance and their life expectancy is unlimited. These pearls thus make it possible to improve the taste and the quality of the tap water but in no case to make healthy a non-drinking water (of river for example).Compared to the solution of the carbon bamboos, I like the unlimited character in the time, thus more economic. The other uses of the ceramic pearls are numerous:- to filter naturally the water of the aquarium- to descale the small household appliances: kettle, coffeepot, water-heater... To maintain daily and avoid the deposit of scale in your kettle, coffee pot or water heater, keep continuously 12 ceramic beads inside - to preserve more durably the food as well as the bouquets of flowers - to clean the toilets - to decrease the cleaning products used in the washing machine and the dishwasher. For the dishwasher, I threaded the beads in a cotton string.well, after all that, I am convinced, hyper convinced even.
These ceramic pearls by a chemical action act and remove the limestone and chlorine from the water.nothing is visible but it works. If you have water that has a taste, these pearls are a solution.personally I put 10 pearls in a bottle that I use to wash my face, remove my makeup.I also put some in the teapot and the tea has a different taste, ditto for the coffee. It's impressive what chlorine or limestone can change without you realizing it.
I have known siwak for more than 30 years, since I know Africa and India because it is the way to brush the teeth there. It is a very effective product because the Africans and Indians who use it have teeth bursting with whiteness. An American study conducted in 2003 concluded that the use of siwak is more effective than the use of a toothbrush. This solution of hygiene is ecological because the material is recyclable and especially, it is much healthier for the health than the chemical formulas harmful to the health that the industrial cosmetics offer us.
I admit that I wanted to try absolutely and what a disappointment!!! First of all this taste of wood in the mouth I hate and moreover I insisted on my teeth and I have the impression that they are not cleaned..........In the family nobody wants to try so I do not know other reactions!
I am very satisfied. Thank you
I used 10 of these beads in a bottle of water and the remaining 20 were placed in my kettle.tap water has a slight taste, this one is completely erased with these ceramic beads.my spouse prefers these beads to the charcoal stick, it's more natural for him.on the other hand, it takes more than 10 minutes as announced in the instructions for use for the elimination of the taste in the water.
Three charcoals very well presented in an airtight box, each one surrounded by paper. On the box a very clear French notice. Sent very quickly. Very good value for money.
Perfect!
The ceramic beads are very useful for me as I live in an area where the water is very hard.It helps to remove the scale and also improves the taste of the water. The explanation provided for using it is clear and easy to understand. It is a good product that I recommend, and lasts for years!
These Siwak are great. It has been known to be very beneficial for a long time and I confirm it. I alternate it with the toothbrush and I am satisfied. The siwak does not attack the teeth. The taste is not bad. It is quite thin and transportable in a pocket or in a bag. The package contains 18 which is largely sufficient for a long time.
Very good. Received quickly, very serious. Very satisfied for a first order
At the top, fulfills its purpose. Filters water well without giving it any taste.
These sticks of coal are very simple of use. They are boiled 10 mn, then they are ready for 1 month of use (at the end of one month, it is enough to boil again... use on 6 months).they do not release any smell, no taste. We sometimes have a strong smell of chlorine in our tap water, but since I use these sticks, this chlorine taste has disappeared and so I am very satisfied with this product.I contacted the company that exports them and they answered all my questions in a very clear way.So I find that this product has a very good value for money.
Fast delivery, product conforms
Very good
I was a little skeptical at first, but from the first use my water doesn't taste the same anymore, it seems purer.I can also notice that it is much less calcareous, that's what I was looking for the most, my water being very calcareous.I recommend it 100% and besides I'm going to order again!
Excellent seller. Very responsive to any concerns, very accommodating, trustworthy. I recommend 100%!
The Orinko brand offers 30 ceramic beads in a small cardboard box. These pearls allow to purify water, to remove the possible bad taste, and to attenuate the limestone. It's simple and economical: just let them act for about 30 minutes in the water the first time, then refill your carafe and wait at least 10 minutes before using the water! (so get in the habit of filling it in advance), and it works for years. It's super ecological!? I use these ceramic beads in the "table" water jug (which I also use to water the plants)! I put some in the coffee machine tank, in the kettle, and 3 symbolic ones in the water of the fountain of my animals? The ideal for it to work is to put 10 for one liter of water? Frankly, I hope it works! It's not easy to prove (I have the impression that the water is lighter, and it doesn't taste bad)? Anyway it's worth a try, because these are at an interesting price of 15,97 € for 30 pearls, and they last for years, which compensates: it's a long term investment.? The water really tastes better with these pearls, and it is lighter in the mouth. But be careful, it will not make a non-drinkable water drinkable: it's not magic!
Conforming product - fast delivery - thank you
A perfect product to remove the taste of tap water
I'm still waiting for the pdf notice
I used pearls for the first time a few months ago.I was not at all convinced of the efficiency but the comments seemed very positive.I changed my carafe filter against a dozen pearls ... and the water has indeed found a pleasant taste (as with the carafe, but cheaper!) These pearls are similar to my first and work as well. These pearls are similar to my first ones and work just as well. I have noticed a reduction in the taste of chlorine and a little less limescale deposit. On the other hand, the other allegations (dynamization of water, purification and other pleasures) that we sometimes meet for this type of product (but not for this one), are not based on anything scientific. Even the work of the Japanese Professor Teruo Higa (quoted on the manufacturer's website) could never be confirmed! In any case, these pearls do no harm and cost less than carafes filters, so it's very good, especially since the manufacturer is not stingy with its pearls (32 instead of 30 in the box!)
Ok, thanks
The properties of charcoal are well known.here we have an ecological and durable filtering solution.the price is a bit high compared to the competition.it can be used for other applications.overnight the water is significantly modified.visible to the taste.we know the multiple properties of charcoal. To conclude, we know the multiple properties of coal. Only the price can make you back off.
Good product, I don't use a water bottle anymore and the water is very good with the beads
Does the job. Very pretty in a carafe
Works perfectly Description
Perfect. I use a cloth handkerchief to make the ear pick last over time and for hygiene.
Having a very hard tap water, I was able to test the charcoal sticks in cool bottles. No charcoal taste or unpleasant taste. No deposit, I really love it, I was able to replace my plastic bottle purchases by using this.
I use a kettle at work to heat my tea water and other herbal teas every day. The water is rather hard and I don't have easy access to a sink to clean the deposits that inevitably get in the bottom of the kettle. And then I would also have to think about emptying the stagnant water every day! So the bottom of my kettle was full of scale, all white... I cleaned it up as best I could with a simple handkerchief and put in these little porcelain balls that had been washed and dried. Since then, I have not removed them from the device and you can see on the picture that not only does the limescale not settle but it has also made the last remaining residues disappear. No more pieces of limescale that were poured with the water and that I swallowed at the same time as my tea. I am really satisfied with this product.
Not satisfied, 3 broken products in the box out of 6. I do not recommend this product. E Coiffier
Not convinced... We live in a region where the water is not really hard, so it's hard to say if these ceramic beads are effective on hardness... On the taste of chlorine, as it is necessary to wait 30min before consuming the water and that it is usually the time I wait when the water has just been treated for the chlorine to evaporate, these pearls are not very useful to me...
Very good product
