I bought the ceramic pearls in order to discover this new product.the returns being still a little weak on internet I decided to test by myself.the pearls arrive in a small bag I used the pearls in my water carafe, in the tank of the coffeemaker and in the kettle.The taste of the water is really different I live in a city where the tap water is very chlorinated and the taste is no longer there after putting the pearls.For the coffee maker and the kettle the pearls do not remove the limestone but the deposit and the white traces are almost non-existent.I am convinced and I will repurchase some.

Clear and pure water great product

The idea was interesting but I find this system a bit dangerous. The wood is very hard and in spite of a curved shape at the end, it risks to touch the eardrum. It's a pity.

It is true that for simple white charcoal from Japan, the purchase price may seem expensive, but over time, it may be quite profitable. Don't forget the kilometers that this wood travels to get to us. It's good that the manufacturer gives back to the Amazonian forest, but it's still necessary that they replant trees instead of burning them. For the filtration of water, it's as said by the other consumers: we boil for 10 minutes, we filter during the night preferably by letting the water rest, we sterilize every month by reboiling the stick. And so on for 6 months of treated water, that's why the 6-pack will last three years. It is very expensive for the raw material (charcoal) so I wonder if it works the same way with a BBQ charcoal.

I only use a carafe of 1 liter, I would have expected sticks of + or - 40 gr ... out of 5 sticks: 1 of 85 grams (huge) + 2 of medium size and 2 very small ... I confess to be very disappointed by these differences in weight ...! Wouldn't it be possible to have slices closer to the customer's needs...? Otherwise, delivery is rather fast...!

I compared the color of my tap water between: the color of the water coming out of my tap put in a glass and the same water with the sticks in a carafe for 8 hours. I can say that it works because the water became much clearer with the sticks and moreover the taste of the water is better. I will consume a much purer water of the blow but not completely pure and fortunately, because a very purified water is not good for health because it does not bring anything any more.

After letting the charcoal stick boil for 10 minutes in water, it is usable.Before boiling it, I had soot on my fingers (you can see it on the picture). It is recommended to boil it every month (to clean it).but once in the carafe . No more soot.The sticks are massive and quite heavy.The water is effectively filtered. It no longer smells like bleach. The taste is reduced and more neutral.I find it practical in a large carafe.I would see with time for the limestone.I think to put a stick in the kettle too, I would see.An ecological way to filter water.
