Meets my expectations

First of all, I would like to point out that the water in my house is very hard.Strong points :- ecological and natural- simple and easy preparation (10min in boiling water, and personally I rinse the charcoal before putting it in the water carafe)- takes little space- effectively softened water, especially at room temperature- long duration (6 months) so economical compared to filtering carafes where the filter only lasts one month- can give a nice decorative effect in the carafeWeak points :- anticipate at least 4h before being able to taste purified water (they indicate at least 4h for a good water and at least 8h for an excellent water)- the carbon can come out of the carafe if you pour it with little water in it- the carbon can make noise by moving in a carafe not very full

The carbon filters the water well. It becomes softer for sure. Only negative point: the fact of having to make manipulations to make it active (boiling) and its long time of action (8h).article that I recommend nevertheless.

Charcoal already removes the odors of rancid rainwater. So it's not surprising that the activated charcoal here is effective in filtering tap water.

I admit that I was a little skeptical, but finally it works.Before the first use, you will have to boil it, then wait a good ten minutes before putting it in a water carafe. Wait then between 4 and 8 hours.the first ones, we don't feel too much the difference, but after a month, and after a second passage in the kettle, indeed, the taste is not the same one as with the one of the tap.On the other hand, no, it is not really effective against the limestone.I use the water filtered with this charcoal for my kettle and, even if I have to clean it a little less often, there is still limestone that settles.6 months life stick, to be boiled every month.Correct price (6 sticks, 3 years of use).The sticks are biodegradable, if you have a compost you can put them in.1In short, a nice discovery.

Coupled with bishotane does its job very well. I can no longer drink tap water which tastes disgusting but with these products I find a good quality water.I strongly recommend!!! No more plastic bottles, saving money without question and the environment will be much better off. Products that should be mandatory in every home.

Interesting product, the sticks are fragile and break easily

It's been more than 2 years now that I stopped buying bottled water. I was not familiar with this brand but when I saw that it was a French brand I wanted to try them. They are half the price of the ones I used to buy and twice as big, so as always, you have to boil them for 10 minutes every month for 3 months.

Coupled with ceramic tubes it's magic. I drink tap water again!!! Thanks for the environment and my wallet!

I find this product good because the water tastes better. On the other hand, what bothers me is that there are small black residues in the bottom of the pitcher, so it's a little embarrassing.

I try this product to have a healthier water -

I use it to purify water and it is a good compromise. It avoids me to buy bottled water which is treated, there I have the feeling to have purified water with a natural product. The water does not have any taste of chlorine and other products. So I am totally delighted with this product and I recommend it.

Having already bought some in Thailand, a year ago, I wanted to renew my stock.Orinko's bamboo is harder, so less flexible, but well worked, and smooth. The roundness of the back sticks well to the hand.

I think I'll even recommend it.
