Now that I know, it will be difficult to do without these activated charcoal sticksKnowing that charcoal is used in emergency rooms in case of poisoning, its filtering and absorbing properties are no longer to be proven. We don't buy plastic bottles, I find it extremely polluting and we don't have a filter carafe either, but the water in our city is not so good and the environment is quite polluted, so I wanted to try the Binchotan, already knowing that charcoal has many qualities (adds minerals and trace elements, filters chemicals and heavy metals). The only small effort to make is to boil your sticks once a month for 6 months (you can do it in rice or pasta water), in order to purify them again, frankly the calculation is quickly done, you can very well give yourself this little trouble to try to fix things a little bit. Here we have 4 glass water bottles that we can fill as much as we want. The water is really perfect to be drunk 4 hours after filling, so the rotation is practical.and there, there is no photo, if you thought that the water has no taste you are going to be surprised! I have the impression to drink the spring of my grandfather, devoid of chemical tastes. What a pleasure, the difference is obvious! 4 sticks is good, it makes us almost a year of water consumption with carbon, I let you do the calculation but in terms of purchase of water bottles or carafe filters, it is quickly done! No more waste and a real economy. When the carbon stick is no longer effective, it recycles naturally, you can use it for your plants. The little extra of this brand, 1% of the sale price is donated to a reforestation program, what to compensate for carbon emissions related to the transport of sticks (a limited transport compared to that of water packs purchased in trade this-dit) and participate in the fight against deforestation.charcoal is adopted!

I'm a big fan of Binchotan, those special pieces of charcoal that purify tap water. And it really works. The water tastes good, no more chlorine smell, you just have to wait a few hours. I use these, and others, from Japanese oak. I prefer the oak... hard to say, the oak seems more 'powerful'. Otherwise, very happy with these

The use and the life span has already been detailed in the other commentsSome points1/ very good the mini paper doc not to let us down the 1st time we use2/ sometimes we already have filtration systems for viruses and bacteria but the activated carbon systems allow to add 2 things: absorb bad smells and fix heavy metals +/- drugs (they manage chemical pollution and neutrality of the taste but not at all bacterial pollution) They are thus to be used- either in complement of the already drinkable water of your tap (of which you do not like the taste and/or problem of persistent chemical pollution)- or on a water which you already got rid of its germs (virus bacterium) with a passive filter for example (the berkeley etc) or with another method (uv, chemical etc) but without having a carbon filter: it will then be complementaryProduct which comes from far away so ecological cost to be taken into accountEconomic blow also if it is used on the long term: for those which do not know it, if it is only chlorine which disturbs you, to let rest water before drinking it is enough to drive out the taste of it, not needing carbon or other carafes so-called filtering

These little pieces of ceramic leave marks on the glass bottle in which I had placed them. It was deceptive because, at the beginning, I was juggling with 2 bottles. As soon as I poured myself a glass of water, I filled up the missing one immediately and let it sit for the recommended 30 minutes. But one day, I didn't fill it up as I was using it, and I can tell you that I saw traces of limescale!

I had discovered this process of "water purification" at a friend's house, and with this pack of 6 activated carbons, we are prepared for all eventualities... because in practice, we have to get used to prepare our water "in advance", so that the purification takes place slowly, in about 8 hours (for example, I prepare 2 carafes in the evening to use them the next day) - the idea is to have several in order to be able to rotate them, so with these 6 carbons, we are well equipped. It is the most ecological water filtration system I know, and I am very happy to be able to make a small gesture for the planet? No particular taste or aspect to note after filtration. You will also have to take care to plunge them in boiling water before the first use to activate them, then to regenerate them. Guaranteed effect with your guests?

I have been using ceramic beads in the water tank of my coffee machine for some time now and I am very satisfied with them. I am now considering using them in the isothermal carafe that I use daily for my drinking water, the only small problem is to be careful not to pour the pearls into the glass when serving yourself a drink.

These ceramic beads work very well. I use them mainly for my tea machine and my coffee machine to neutralize limescale. Until now, I used a limestone filter, I now only use these beads and I am satisfied. I have put fifteen of them in the bottom of each tank and indeed I have almost no traces of limescale.on the other hand the delivery is to be reviewed, the pearls were loose at the bottom of the envelope with the open cardboard box. And above all it lacked a small fabric bag to allow use in the dishwasher.it's a bit of a shame! Interesting quality-price ratio given the number of pearlsDimension of the pearls: length 12 mm, diameter 9 mm, inner diameter 3 mm

I am very surprised by this product, because I have been looking for an alternative to plastic toothbrushes for some time. In this pack there are 18 sticks of Siwak. This can last a very long time because each stick is reusable, when the fibers are a little damaged we cut and again we can use it.The smell is a little surprising at first but you get used to it very quickly.I agree with them when the fact that this stick gives fresh breath

I knew about these "pearls" in aquarium filters, but I had never dwelled on the subject until a few months ago. I have an electric kettle and had to descale it with white vinegar very - too - regularly. Then I tried the beads. And then it was a revelation: I only descale very occasionally. I really appreciate it. So I put pearls in the tank of my coffee machine. It hasn't been in there long enough to be sure of the effectiveness, but I don't really have any doubts. It can only extend the life of the machine. And that's when I say to myself, "But why didn't I think of this sooner?".15,97€ so far for 30 pearls (32 actually in my package).

Ceramic beads soften tap water by reducing limescale and removing the taste of chlorine. I have been using them for a long time in my kettle and I have been able to eliminate plastic bottles by simply putting a few pearls in a carafe. These ceramic pearls are really effective in neutralizing the smell and taste of chlorine and limescale deposits. The water is healthier and more "alive".

I received to test ceramic pearls of the brand Orinko. These beads are fired at very high temperatures and contain a micro-organism that reduces the level of limescale in the water. I found this information and much more by downloading very easily the ebook proposed by the manufacturer. Very easy, you just have to scan the QR code and give your name and email address. In the box is a short notice, you have to boil the beads for 10 minutes before using them. Then you can place them in various places to reduce the lime content and fight its harmful effects on the containers.I have applied for a few days the advice given by placing them in the kettle, the water carafe, the water tank of the coffee machine, a watering can and a water can of large capacity for the water trough of our chickens (I wish in the long run to avoid the greening of the water as well).I count 15 small pearls per liter of water because our water is hard. All the pearls are used but the manufacturer indicates that the life span is very long if we revitalize them! I note at the level of the kettle much less limestone deposited, I waited 15 uses before putting back vinegar. The lime really holds much less. As far as the water carafe is concerned, it replaces my Brita filter and it tastes just as good! As for the other uses, it's still a bit early to give my full opinion, but the manufacturer says that in the watering can it's good for the plants thanks to the micro-organism, so it's a less expensive solution to get rid of the chore of cleaning the limestone and to remove the bad taste of the tap water. I like it a lot and I'm going to buy some again to test the use in the dishwasher! ??????

These Japanese activated carbons purify water in a very simple way: you clean them in boiling water, then you put them in the carafe where they can stay for a month, the water keeps the same taste, and the carbon absorbs the impurities.

I am delighted with these beads that have been used for a long time and that allow you to drink tap water while eliminating the taste of chlorine and not only that, studies have shown that the beads reduce the presence of chlorine, limestone, nitrates and ammonium and help to rebalance the pH of the water, while reducing the growth of pathogenic bacteria and reducing chemical elements such as nitrogen, phosphate and sulfate. It is ecological and economic because they last all the life.Received 32 instead of 30 pieces in a small cardboard box.The pearls measure 11 mm X 9 mm in diameter. Before any use place them 10 mn in boiling water and make it dry.It is necessary to count 10 to 15 pearls / liter, one can leave them all the time with a minimum of 10 minutes so that it is effective. They are pearls, then attention to the small children!.An e-book offered by scanning the QR code on the box, I did not look for!

For a long time now, I have eliminated disposable plastic bottles from my daily life.In my region, the water is very hard, I used to use a carafe filter, but the design of the filters posed a problem: they are bulky, expensive, and above all... plastic + disposable!!! These ceramic beads allow a 100% ecological alternative to this practice. How many to put? How to use them? I did my personal research on the net, here is what I found: The pearls intervene directly on the structure of the water to make it purer. They are composed of a clay enriched with micro-organisms. The 80 strains they contain eliminate chlorine, limestone and most of the harmful residues contained in tap water. Then, they can be left permanently in the bottom of the water, topping up as you go along. The ideal is to have two carafes, one being activated with the pearls while you drink the other.Contrary to the charcoal filters of the carafes which store the residues, these pearls do not require any maintenance and their life expectancy is unlimited. These pearls thus make it possible to improve the taste and the quality of the tap water but in no case to make healthy a non-drinking water (of river for example).Compared to the solution of the carbon bamboos, I like the unlimited character in the time, thus more economic. The other uses of the ceramic pearls are numerous:- to filter naturally the water of the aquarium- to descale the small household appliances: kettle, coffeepot, water-heater... To maintain daily and avoid the deposit of scale in your kettle, coffee pot or water heater, keep continuously 12 ceramic beads inside - preserve more durably the food as well as the bouquets of flowers - clean the toilets - reduce the cleaning products used in the washing machine and the dishwasher.Well, after all that, I am convinced, hyper convinced even.

These ceramic beads are very effective against limescale, it is easy to see that.as you must before the first use boil them in water for 10 minutes, I use a black pot and when it is boiling, I put the beads for the time indicated.after 10 minutes, I remove the beads to let them dry.I then note the extent of limescale deposited in the pot and around.Take the same clean pan, put cold water, put the pearls at the bottom (10 or 15 for 1 liter), for 10 minutes, remove the pearls and boil the water, and then, before your astonished eyes, you will notice that there is no trace of limestone in the pan !!!!For chlorine odors it's the same, 10 minutes in the water and no more odors or bad taste. I put it in the tank of my coffee maker is effective, but I have not yet tested in the dishwasher, but it should work.
