Usually I buy Binchotan made of oak. Here I wanted to test this one based on bamboo. Of course it is more fragile and does not last as long but these two negative points are largely compensated by the fact that they are much faster to filter since there is more surface of contact with water. I also like the fact that you can break it. I put some in my water bottle. I don't have a carafe but I use a glass bottle that contained fruit juice so it has a big neck. I recommend it.

Excellent product. The water from the well that feeds the house was analyzed, I should have treated it. I continued to drink it but when my grandchildren came I bought bottles. I used to clean the tap water before drinking it and in my different machines (coffee machine, tea machine, washing machine). As a tea drinker I can see the difference in the quality of the water, no stains on the surface of my tea, and its taste is more pronounced.As far as the machines are concerned, I did not have to descale them as in my habit every week. I've been wanting to try this kind of toothbrush and oriculis for a while. I like the ecological and durable aspect. The bristles of the brush are a bit soft for my taste, I'm not used to it yet.
