I have not used the traditional cotton swabs for a long time because my mother had an eardrum operation because of their misuse. The use is very different from our usual, but polluting, cotton swabs. It just takes, I think, some getting used to finding the right depth in the ear canal without touching the eardrum. Still a bit of improvement in perspective. But the soft contact of the bamboo is very pleasant in the ear.

I haven't bought a plastic bottle for 2 years now, filtering tap water with activated bamboo charcoal is easy and effective. Reusable in 10min in boiling water every 2-4 weeks depending on the purity of the water where you live. Small investment at the beginning then usable for years. Well received with correct packaging at first sight... only after opening a box and unpacking the sticks one of the three was unusable received in crumbs... so far from slightly broken or cracked... so unusable!

For those who don't want or can't afford reverse osmosis, the binchotan ticks all the boxes: efficient (apparently, even on pesticides contained in the water), economical and super ecological. Bamboo is a species that is not overexploited (some bamboos, which are extremely invasive) and, here, a small but important plus, the manufacturing is French. I find that the binchotan makes the water less hard (but it is perhaps psychological) but it is especially for its "cleaning" properties that I use it (ah, the countryside, its cows, its pigs in battery, its corn fields, its water rich in pesticides and nitrates...)

Totally satisfied with these coals! It was a first for me and I find a real change in the taste of tap water, softer, but not unpleasant taste... no more bottled water and tap water with a "bleach" taste.

Effective. I still prefer binchotan charcoal (oak wood), which also seems to have some effectiveness in reducing electromagnetic fields (e.g. in front of a PC monitor).
