Well, my truffle was not exceptional, yet I did what was necessary to keep it well preserved, paper towel, airtight box, paper towel changed every day, so maybe I missed something? In any case, no more smell for New Year's Eve.

A bit, when buying I sincerely thought there were several per lot, and there was only one and it is quite shiny, it would be good to specify (but I may have read it wrong..) well it’s not dramatic

Unfortunately, a truffle that arrives very dry must have been harvested several days before.

A sensation of dryness can sometimes be related to the natural stage of ripeness of the truffle, some being naturally firmer depending on the harvest period and climatic conditions.
It is also important to remember that the external appearance of a truffle alone does not allow one to judge its freshness. Since the truffle is a living product, variations can exist from one specimen to another.

Unlike all the others, my last order was not up to par. The truffles lacked flavor and aroma.

A little disappointed by the taste of the truffles, which lacks power.
A little surprised when I opened the sachet: no smell. A little smell a few hours later. Very very little taste. Disappointed ... Not what I knew and picked up when I was young (in Ardèche), or gave away a few years ago.

I've already ordered truffles several times online and this time I'm very disappointed, especially as I'd opted for the EXTRA quality. The smell was fine, but the taste was very disappointing considering the price. And the packaging wasn't exceptional either. For the same price or even less, I can find it in shops in Belgium. DON'T FORGET YOUR TYPE OF PRODUCT.

5 stars for the delivery. 1 star for the truffle, which tasted as good as a Chinese truffle... my dish tasted almost nothing like it 🙁
Truffles not vacuum-packed and therefore far too moist
The truffles were good. The only downside was the delivery! Chronofreche were two days late in delivering and I even had to pick them up myself from the depot on the third day! Unacceptable! Plantin has nothing to do with it, but it's up to you to pass on our dissatisfaction. Sincerely
Disappointed! Out of 100g of truffles, about half were of mediocre quality, as if they had been kept too long before dispatch. We ate them 24 hours after receipt.
