The product is in accordance with my order but unfortunately my filly does not eat them, the smell and taste of the product are not appetizing.
The smell is related to the active ingredients that make up the CMV, vitamins, and trace elements. The apple flavor has been added to "mask" this smell as much as possible and facilitate the intake of the CMV (alone) by the horses.
The Reverdy MINÉRAL OLIGOVIT comes in two forms; EASY DOSE (= large granules) and vermicelli. For horses aged one year or older, both versions of the CMV (Mineral and Vitamin Supplement) may be suitable.
For younger horses under 1 year, we recommend giving the vermicelli version. Perhaps this format would suit your filly better?
Each horse is unique, and some horses not used to this format sometimes need to be a little "conditioned" to end up appreciating it. If this has not already been done, do not hesitate to contact our nutrition advisor team so that we can help you 😉
