That said, I understand your point of view; it is a bit complicated and we plan to simplify this offer in early 2017. For now, we mainly hold events in the Île-de-France region, although we have occasionally done some in other regions (Blois, Bordeaux...). Try contacting Whisky Lodge; they are a wine merchant in Lyon, and they are very good and also sell rum.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for this delay. We ship on the same day as the order if it is placed before 2:00 PM and the next morning otherwise. The announced delivery times are calculated based on the promise of the transport company (Colissimo, Mondial Relay, etc.) + 1 day of margin, except for Chronopost which contractually promises 24 hours (if you went through Chronopost, we compensate part of the transport costs in case of delay; in this case, you need to contact our customer service). In most cases, this is largely respected, but unfortunately, there are times when there are delays or incidents, in which case we intervene with the carrier when you report a delay or malfunction.

I suggest ordering 2 boxes and I will cover the shipping costs if you are interested. Furthermore, following similar issues, which we completely understand, we have added a mandatory checkbox in the order for nearly a year now: "I have acknowledged the 'sample' offer (acknowledge the offer)." By clicking on "acknowledge the offer," all the points you mentioned are addressed and explained. It is indeed possible to overlook this, however. Regarding the plastic bottles (actually food-grade PET that perfectly preserves alcohol, 100% recyclable, lightweight, and durable), this is a choice we made to offer this service at the best price: there is never any breakage, which is cumbersome for us to manage and frustrating for customers who have to wait for a new delivery. It is also important to consider that we offer the cheapest delivery on the market (€4.90 at a pickup point) and that we provide gift wrapping, which few sites do.
