Dear Customer Thank you for the review, we are aware of this problem which has been caused by the Courier Networks being under extreme pressures in the last week or so, caused by bad weather, postal strikes etc etc, we do really apologize for the inconvenience. My colleague Stuart has been chasing DPD hard to try to resolve this issue (his last email to you sent today shown below) ------------ Good morning Nigel. many thanks for your email and apologies for the delay in getting your items to you. Unfortunately there is a lot of parcels going through the network at the moment, with postal strikes and Black Friday adding to the pressure and now delays caused due to inclement weather this has put some already struggling depots further behind. The latest information on your parcel does suggest that it is expected to go out for delivery today, but weather conditions may be a factor. I have added this to my 'watchlist' and should hopefully receive updates for your parcel. Hopefully we can get it to you soon. Kind regards and apologies again for the delay Stuart ------------------ We have been using DPD for well over 10 years now, and in the main they do a tremendous job in delivery most of our parcels the next working day, but unfortunately at this moment in time the poor weather, strikes and the Christmas pressures have created abnormal problems, which we are being told they are working as hard as possible to rectify. Strikes by Royal Mail running up to Christmas have also resulted in many customers using Couriers rather than their normally Royal Mail services in the last week or so, which has caused even more mayhem. We purchased an infra red battery operated wireless security sensor to monitor traffic entering our property. It arrived safely and well packaged. We were not in when it was delivered but organised, via the website, to have the parcel left in our porch, which is where we found it.

DREADFUL CHINESE INSTRUCTIONS ON SMALL BIT OF PAPER TRANSLATED SO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. I still don't know why my alarm won't flash when the sos button is pressed . I have to keep contacting this firm . The instructions don't tell you to remove rubber bung to access on switch but tell you to take clear cover off with loads of tiny screws . Might be a UK company but they are selling cheap Chinese rubbish alarms and I bought 2 !

After browsing through the website and noticing the product I was interested in was out of stock I rang the contact number and given an alternative product that covered all my requirements. After ordering the product it arrived the following day on the free of charge standard delivery. Fantastic. The product looks sturdy and up to the job and from unboxing it, It was installed by myself and working in just over 1hour. In numerous tests all positive I now have piece of mind at night. Product and delivery all great.. as a DIYer the installation was a little trickier than expected due to narrow gaps around door and frame. This potential problem wasn't obvious to me from the limited instructions on line before ordering or with those that came with the product.
