I did everything: garlic, Jerusalem artichokes, cream, butter, leeks, and truffle oil... except that nothing indicates that they should be taken out well in advance... So I ruined my dish, my pleasure, my surprise with wine wow... sniff

Regarding the use of truffle, it is indeed not necessary to leave it at room temperature for long. On the contrary, we generally recommend taking it out of the refrigerator and grating or cutting it immediately, in order to best preserve its aromas.
The expression of the truffle also depends a lot on its use (heat of the dish, moment of incorporation, contact with a fatty substance...), which can sometimes strongly influence the final result.
