Long-time customer. VERY disappointed with the new packaging. The sticker makes the product look cheap. In perfume, the bottle is very important. I much preferred the old bottle. What a shame to sacrifice your product for economies of scale. This has a negative impact on its image. My first instinct was to remove the damn sticker 😕

What a pity you didn't call us, we would have explained to you that the new label decorating our bottles is anything but "cheap": we worked for several months with our French printer to create a specially designed shape, embossing and silver hot stamping. They are then delicately applied by hand in our Nîmes workshop by Dominique and Cécile, which requires a great deal of time and attention. The idea was not to save money, but to offer a graphic universe to each fragrance, to complement their olfactory worlds. We're sorry if you don't like the new design, but we'd have appreciated it if these comments had been tempered by the quality of our fragrances that you love so much, or by the quality of our service with the ultra-fast dispatch of your parcel, the thoughtfulness that goes into it... Patchouli is therefore clearly the main ingredient in this fragrance, which also offers woody and earthy notes in particular. Patchouli is also featured in our kilim (a spicy oriental patchouli) and ippi patchouli clair (a sunny patchouli) fragrances, which you were able to test thanks to the samples included in your parcel. If you like these fragrances but are looking for more intensity, consider our pure perfumes, which are more concentrated than eaux de parfum, and therefore more intense. You should know that our 3 fragrances built around patchouli (ippi patchouli, ippi patchouli clair and kilim) contain over 40% natural patchouli from Indonesia: so it's not fair to say that these fragrances don't smell of patchouli. On the other hand, we can hear that they don't correspond to your interpretation of patchouli, which has been influenced by all the patchouli fragrances you may have liked, themselves containing patchouli, but not only. Secondly, while some of the fragrances in our collection are designed to be discreet and confidential (musk or alõ, for example), others (including our patchouli fragrances) are long-lasting. Some perfumes are made to be powerful and leave a trail, others are thought to be discreet and confidential: we try to offer a balanced collection to meet the different tastes of our customers. Please note, however, that since our samples are equipped with an earpiece (and not a spray bottle), the result is not always representative. However, our bottles are equipped with a spray bottle that allows for a better dosage and distribution of the perfume, thus improving the feeling of hold. Also keep in mind that each skin is different, and the same perfume will last more or less on different people. But on the whole, the samples sent being eaux de parfum, they offer a nice concentration offering a hold from half a day to a day on the skin and more on clothes. As much as I gladly grant you that our "musc originel" is a resolutely confidential perfume since it was created to be discreet, as much as our eau de parfum SO is considered powerful by the great majority of the people who wear it. But that's the beauty of perfume: it reacts differently from one person to another, because our skin plays a major role! Sometimes it's unfair, sometimes it's what makes perfume magical, when the alchemy between it and our skin is perfect 🙂 Since you like SO, you should know that it also exists in pure perfume: the smell is the same as the eau de parfum, but the pure perfume being even more concentrated, it is more intense and lasts longer on your skin and clothes... Concerning the cases of our 100ml eau de parfum, they are indeed equipped with 2 security slots that allow to block the flap. The case can be opened by hand without having to tear it, but it is indeed even easier with a flat blade. This type of system will allow us to eventually eliminate the plastic that surrounds our cases: a goal that we have set for ourselves to be ever more eco-responsible. Serious site. I ordered ippi parchouli. I ordered ippi parchouli. Why did you order? Because I have been wearing parchouli reminiscence for 30 years and their formula has changed. I wanted to find this spirit patchouli 70's. I trusted the positive reviews about the olfactory creations of carrément belle. Unfortunately I felt invaded by a tuberose too dominant erasing any entity of patchouli, and offering only a spirit of solar perfume style monoï of' YR... whose holding was for my part only of one hour and half not more. It is a pleasant perfume but for a clientele adept at summer scents.

Perfume is fascinating because everyone interprets and feels it in a very personal way: tuberose is indeed present in our ippi patchouli fragrance but it is only a minor ingredient in its composition, as well as the sunny side mentioned which is discreet in this fragrance but much more present in its "clear" version (of which you received a sample). On the other hand, the main ingredient of this perfume is patchouli, with its earthy and woody facets, although it is quite possible that your olfactory sensitivity will perceive more other notes. As for the staying power of a perfume, it depends a lot on your skin. Yours must be greedy and drink the perfume quickly, because the ippi patchouli eau de parfum has been designed to leave a powerful trail behind your steps, during the whole day or almost. Before buying I asked for advice. I am looking for a perfume similar to Ambre sultan by Serge Luthens. I was advised So which could probably be mixed! I was disappointed when I opened and tried this perfume which for me is very feminine!

I am disappointed by the ippy patchouli perfume, too strong a scent for my taste, and I have trouble finding the patchouli ... the sample of ippy patchoul clair would suit me a little better. I don't like Enkor at all, neither in perfume nor in incense, but I like So a lot. Sincerely Corine

We are sorry to read that it was not love at first sight with ippi patchouli. I can confirm that the patchouli is indeed present, in a natural form and coming from Indonesia. If the eau de parfum is too intense for your taste, feel free to spray (in moderation) your clothes or above you for example to create a mist that will delicately perfume you. We are delighted to see that our SO incense will have seduced you with its amber scent!
