Customer reviews of Changermesverres

After checking the photo you sent us, we confirmed that the lenses delivered are indeed our Blue Mirror, exactly what you ordered. Our blue is a very deep shade, and on a photograph, where flat lighting neutralises the mirror effect, it does lean towards purple. Seen on the frame in daylight, the mirror finish reveals itself quite differently.

That said, your satisfaction matters more to us than being right: we offered you a full refund, with your return shipping reimbursed as well, and that offer still stands today. Just write to us and we will take care of it.

On the thinness, you are right, and it is a deliberate choice rather than a compromise. We use TAC, a cellulose-based material selected for its optical clarity, its lightness, and its polarizing filter laminated at the very core of the lens, so it can never peel or wear off the surface. Their flexibility is a strength rather than a weakness: it absorbs impact by flexing where a thicker, rigid lens would mark.

Thinner, then, and for good reasons.

Thank you for your trust!

Thank you very much for this detailed feedback, it is precious!

Two clarifications on your observations. The thinness is a deliberate technical choice: our lenses are made of TAC, a cellulose material chosen for its lightness, optical clarity, and laminated polarization at the heart of the lens, and it is also its flexibility that facilitates the installation you describe.

As for the iridescent reflections, they are the signature of the polarizing filter: it reveals invisible patterns to the naked eye on certain surfaces, a windshield or a window for example, and can create these colored effects depending on the angle. This is characteristic of all polarizing lenses, and it is the same filter that eliminates glare from the road and water.

Thank you for your trust, and safe travels with your like-new glasses!

Glad that the fit is perfect and that the tint suits you, it's exactly what we aim for.

And you are right to judge based on durability, that's the real test. To make them last, one reflex is enough: a clean and dry microfiber, never paper tissues or rough fabric. And if anything goes wrong over time, write to us, we never leave a customer without a solution.

Your observation is correct: our TAC lenses are a bit less curved than the original lenses but flexible, this is a characteristic of the material, chosen for its lightness, optical clarity, and laminated polarization at the heart of the glass. It is this flexibility that allows for the gradual fitting you describe, and once in position, the lens remains perfectly held by the frame's contour.

Hello Serge,
