1.5 months delay in delivery after follow-up, not even a commercial gesture, just "excuse us!"
Yes, the normal delay is 4-6 weeks and currently our manufacturer, like many others, has a lot of delays in their production due to fabric supply constraints.

The inner ribbon of the hat is sewn with white thread (while the hat is straw-colored!). This white stitching, which does not even follow the oval of the hat, is very visible on the outside of the hat as shown in the photos I sent you. It is a defect. Please let me know how you could correct it: the stitching needs to be redone with straw-colored thread that should not be visible from the outside. Without this defect that makes it unwearable, I would really like this straw hat.
This type of straw hat, like any straw hat, is worn at the middle of the forehead and at the back bump.
Thus, neither the leather nor the white thread is visible.
This type of straw hat has been made this way for years in Italy but also previously in France.
If you wish to change the color of the threads, it is of course possible.
For that, you need to return it to us and indicate the desired color.

After a first order that I was satisfied with, I decided to buy a second hat for my husband. It arrived with a defect: a hole in the weaving of the fibers. I sent an email to which I received a very quick first response saying that Traclet would address the issue and send me a new hat. Since then, nothing despite 2 follow-up emails and attempts to call without response. In short, I feel cheated. If you want a customer service worthy of the name, look elsewhere. It's a shame because I was quite happy with my first order.

Woodworm hole in the wood, deplorable leather finish, missing staples on the heel leather, after two days of wearing the clogs the soles came off. I advise you to do a quality check before sending a product. Stay a neighborhood hat maker: do not venture into e-commerce if you do not have the skills. Ultimately, I ordered new clogs from a French clog maker, impeccable quality at €55. If for you French know-how means something: do a quality check on the products you sell.

Indeed, the model is made of leather, we do not see any possibility of a woodworm hole in the wood. Moreover, if there is a finishing issue, it is preferable to indicate it to us before use in order to proceed with an exchange.

I ordered 2 hats at a unit price of 90 euros because it was specified on the site that this hat was made in Canada (I could understand the price). To my great displeasure, these hats are also made in China (it was specified for other models but not this one)... but designed in Canada. This is misleading information, shame on the TILLEY brand and those who endorse and sell these hats. I am really angry and will not recommend either on this site or Tilley items.
Please excuse us, we have not yet changed all the production locations on Tilley hats because in our entire stock we still have hats made in Canada. For many models we have already changed this information, notably on the ltm6 but on the Ltm8, we still have old stock.
This production location does not tarnish its quality of manufacturing and fabric.
If these hats do not give you complete satisfaction, it is of course possible to return them for an exchange, notably with the t3 wanderer which is still made in Canada.

Your company is a disgrace to French craftsmanship. In addition to a box that is too small which deformed the hat, you should have thought not to leave the MADE IN CHINA label stuck inside.

Traclet customer, I ordered a Tilley T5MO Organic airflo on May 16, having carefully checked that this model was still made in CANADA (following a review). No information until early June. I am asking for clarification. Coincidentally, I receive a response on the same day that the package is leaving the following week. I receive it on June 13. It is not the correct model. It is a crushed T4. I call. The person on the phone is correct but nothing more. I receive the correct return label to send back the hat. The new package is sent to me on June 23. I open it: 1 - the model is indeed the one ordered but the head size of 58 (7 1/4) is larger than on my other Tilley TW7 by 1.5 fingers??!! 2 - no explanatory booklet on Tilley hats and especially 3 - the hat has been strangely made in CHINA for a week (I had checked the site well the previous week) !!!! I cannot comment on the quality of the hat made in China. Traclet is not serious as they could have informed me that the production of this olive model is Chinese while the same in white is still marked as made in Canada. I am therefore not happy at all and Traclet has just lost a customer.

Here is our feedback for the T5MO hat;
For the first delivery, we sent a T4MO instead of a T5MO, the model is similar but with wider brims.
For the size, if it is indicated as 58 or 7/4, it means that for Tilley, the hat is indeed 58 cm. Furthermore, the TWC7 may have shrunk with sweat at the level of the inner grosgrain.
Regarding the delivered Tilley, it has been several months since Tilley no longer provides this booklet, unless there is an error it is no longer indicated in the description but it is still on our website, here is the link

Finally, regarding the production location, yes we changed it because in the last deliveries the production location changed, that is why we did it (the information about the production location in China by Tilley has been visible for several months on social networks).
