Nothing to complain about the site itself. I have something to say about the size of the received products which are too small. This is the second time this has happened. The first time it was a gift that was given to me - a winter cap in size 63 - which corresponded at most to size 61. Therefore, I never wore it. This time I ordered a cap - Le Coteau - supposedly size 64 and it measures 61.5. The second - flat cap Brit cotton - is an XXL which, according to the size chart on the Traclet site, should go up to 63. It also measures 61.5 cm.

Price and quality of the panama correct, except the name is placed on the ribbon outside while I thought the personalization was inside. Too bad. And the ribbon is neither sewn nor glued, it is not nice at all.

Difficult to find returns
It's a beautiful hat, but the braid is not at all the same and very wide, and very shiny, I wanted to use it for re-enactment but it won't work in its current state. Regarding size, I have already ordered an identical tricorn on the site, but the size is wider this time, without being excessively different.
Excessively high customs fees
when purchasing outside the EU, the French VAT of 20% is exempt but you will have to pay import taxes for Switzerland. These fees are inherent to each country.

The hat is great, but ..... delivery time not respected because out of stock (which I can understand), however no email to notify of this shortage, no alert, if we do not return to the site to check the tracking we know nothing. What is the point of forcing people to create an account in this case. Anyway, an effort on communication would be great!!!

I do not like at all the wide cotton chin strap that I received. It is way too wide and unesthetic. I ordered instead a round lace in nylon paracord from Crazylace.
The chin strap mounted on all Tilley hats since their creation in the 80s.
If this one does not suit you, we also offer other models.

For this price, we could have done better. Among other things, protecting the edges of Phrygian hats with embroidery could be.

In relation to the price, I find that the finish is really not up to par, the gold-colored buckle must have been spray-painted and the person put their fingers on it before it dried, so there are fingerprints on the buckle, also the velvet around the cap is really poorly placed

The delivery time is not respected (3-4 weeks). The order was only delivered after more than 6 weeks of waiting. Moreover, Traclet could have sent me a message warning me that the delay would be extended. The site only reacted after my complaint after more than 4 weeks of waiting.
Fast delivery
I am not satisfied with the quality of one of the hats, and given the delivery delay issues (10 days in colissimo!), I will try to redo the seams myself.

The strap that allows you to reduce the head size does not work, it does not hook, and many pieces of straw stick out.
The ordered hat is in accordance with the description on the site. It is of very good quality, nothing to complain about on that side. The site deserves to be improved, certainly, it presents the items well but back and forth are necessary to select several items before making a choice (I put the selected items in the cart and after making my choice I deleted the others) I do not regret my purchase and I recommend this merchant.
