A little too expensive compared to other sites i've been ordering from john steel for a few years (i'm aware of the increase in material) the price is getting more and more expensive
I liked the multiple customization possibilities (although the software isn't very practical, I must admit, and I'm a 3d designer), the speed of delivery and the price. On the other hand, I'm a bit disappointed with the state of finish, the board wasn't perfectly flat, there were slight height differences on the different pieces of finger-jointed wood. It's a shame it took me hours of sanding to improve the condition. In the end, it's fine, but I could have done without it.
5/5 for cutting quality and technical expertise. 2/5 for delivery service and order tracking. An external service provider that seriously damages this company's brand image. Impossible to reach anyone from "JohnSteel" on the website's telephone number. I left several messages on 0 800 746 548 and was never called back. What a shame!
The quality and finish are perfect. The problem is the deadline, which was important to me. There are 3 possible deadlines, so the customer thinks that the dates are respected, and that's not the case.
Cutting error on their part from JohnSteel, offer of a 5 credit on the next order... No real solution offered. It's a shame, the quality was there...

The equipment arrived with traces of hard-to-remove green felt and scratches... Photos are available if required.
Products Tops. Site not good, required a call to unlock account... Hard to understand. Customer service not always accessible. Quite long lead times, and not always in line with what is advertised by customer service. We come for the products, which are of good quality and perfectly packaged, at least in our past experience.

I was supposed to be delivered to my home on 16-03, so I took the whole day off, and the deliveryman (probably late on his round) dropped the parcel off at a relay point at around 4pm (sms received at 4.10pm), on the pretext that I was absent! Knowing that I'd been tinkering with my gate all afternoon, if a deliveryman had come by... So TNT delivery was lamentable. On the other hand, the parcel was well packed and conformed to the order.

Apparently I had a problem making my parts. There were 3.5mm diameter holes on the dxf file and holes smaller than 0.5mm on the part. I sent photos via the contact form => no return. Apart from this defect, no major worries, it's generally well done and dispatched quickly.

France express sucks. I've explained 6 times where I live by phone. given my cell phone again. I went to pick up the first delivery myself (incomplete and mixed up with another order). I never managed to get J Steel on the phone. Systematically incorrect and misleading information on the France Express Internet tracking system.
Hello, time announced 8 days, not respected. Order placed on 15 Nov. Delivery on 23 Nov.? a Saturday postponed to 25 Nov.? Actual delivery on Dec. 2nd at 1pm 7 days late minimum. Consequences: double travel costs over 1000 KM because imperative return to Brittany scheduled for Nov. 26. Who pays?... Extremely long delivery time, I had to use another supplier to move my project forward.
The only really negative point, which renders all the other positive points null and void, is the quality of the material. I've never seen aluminum so soft, especially in 4mm thickness, and the plate arrived twisted, which I was just about able to straighten with the force of my fingers. It's a pity, because the rest of the performance is good. I hope the same doesn't apply to stainless steel, and I wish you all the best.
Very disappointed with my order. The piece arrived in a very poorly protected (open) bag. The level of workmanship (detail, care, cleanliness) really leaves a lot to be desired for such a price.
