I bought these oriculis for ecological reasons because I was tired of throwing away so many cotton swabs. I am satisfied: They are easy to store, can be differentiated in a household by the different colors, and I prefer the feeling in the ear. I also feel that they clean the canal better. However, other people who have tried them find the sensation unpleasant (scratching sensation whether you like it or not) and I would be afraid in some situations to pierce the eardrum: you should not go to the bottom of the ear or be pushed etc. I recommend the product!

I bought these beads to improve the quality of the tap water we drink. I already had activated carbon (Binchotan) and these beads complement it perfectly! We don't have any bad taste of lime anymore and are really happy with the result. These bamboo charcoal sticks are very convenient for filtering water in carafes. The package contains 5 sticks, but they need to be handled with care because they are a bit brittle. The use is very easy. The first time to activate the charcoal you have to soak them in hot water, then remove the water. Then you can use them normally. The taste of the water does not change much, which is good. It is better to let the water soak for 4 hours. After one month, you can reactivate the charcoal and use it again for another month. The charcoal is supposed to bring minerals and trace elements and to filter out chemicals and heavy metals.

You have to heat your charcoal in a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes.once done, you have to let it dry for 2 minutes.then put it in your bottle where you want to filter the water.be careful, you have to let the stick infuse between 2 to 4 hours for it to be effective.

Easy to use, you just have to be careful not to go too far or you might get hurt. The oriculi is used to avoid the cotton swabs which will make plugs if too often used. With this you just have to scrape in the ear to remove the excess of earwax. As it is a block, there is no risk of losing the tip in the ear like other products. The water is very hard in our house! When I was a little girl, my parents used to put oyster shells in the kettle to fight against limescale. I was a bit dubious but after a month I have to admit that it really works! So I'm going to invest in my parents' old aluminum kettle, and it's hard to know if it improves the taste of hot water, but at least there are no more suspicious grains in the tea, even when you take the bottom of the kettle. It's eco-friendly, practical and durable. What more could you ask for?
