Had this dehumidifier a few days, absolutely love it. This is the 3rd we’ve had in about 13y and by far the best.I did some measurements for comparison, new one vs our old faithful ‘get-get’ branded (Argos?) one from about 13y ago. Both were in the same room, about 55{0b38c1a44f913c5a06ca09c77794280d0ead1c96c84c51c01b08ae0dc7c318f9} RH around 20C at start. This is a typical domestic room in spring time north England. (Stats on the box are at 80{0b38c1a44f913c5a06ca09c77794280d0ead1c96c84c51c01b08ae0dc7c318f9} RH 30C which is like you are in a tropical rainforest. I’m sure that’s favourable for max extraction but not a typical home!).Hung up some washing, set an oscillating fan nearby, ran both dehumidifiers side by side both pointing air outlet at washing. Did 10mins warm up, emptied their tanks, and ran test for 2h. Both set to continuous mode. Measured total power and total ml extracted at end.Old: Get-get brand, a bit smaller, 13y oldAverage power 141 WExtraction rate 35 ml/hExtraction efficiency 247ml/kWhNew: Meaco 20L LE (low fan speed setting)Average power 238 WExtraction rate 230 ml/hExtraction efficiency 966 ml/kWhSo yes, it uses more power. But it extracts >6 time more water in the time and per kWh of energy extracts nearly 4x as much as my old one. That last figure is the real kicker for me.If I use them to extract 1l of water per day from wet washing (assuming they cut out reliably when reaching target, uniform conditions/efficiency, etc etc)...The old will cost me 4kWh/day, or about £292 /yr.The new will cost me 1kWh/day or about £75/yr.So yes, this is a >£200 dehumidifier, but worth it if you’re replacing an old one, payback ~1.5y.Hope someone finds this slightly obsessive engineering analysis useful!Only downside is that the noise is a bit more. Probably couldn’t sleep in same room. It’s ok if there are 1-2 closed doors between you and it (noise is mostly the fan).

A stylish heater on alexa. It was easy to connect to Alexa after a couple of misses but it works fine. I've noticed that it sometimes is not connected (rarely happened) but like a Windows computer, disconnect (pull out the plug) and plug it back in and ask Alexa to turn on the heater.I like the sleek lines, it is thin enough and you could hang it on your wall. We have ours on its feet. It doesn't take up much space and it warms the bay window area perfectly. And it the early morning the living area is not too cold to come down to (Alexa works). I only have to check my energy bill at the end of the month....

We live in a 3 bed terrace which despite having double glazing with air vents, we continually have extreme condensation on the windows and our fitted wardrobe (I blame cavity wall insulation) and have had to use bathroom anti mould paint on all external walls to stop black mould. I've tried little electric dehumidifiers which haven't really done a great deal so was a little undecided about making an expensive purchase of it wasn't going to work but decided to take the bull by the horns.I did a lot of research, having been involved with Ikea's Live Lagom sustainability project earlier this year and being conscious of running costs I knew I needed to look at running costs as well as performance. The Meaco 12l Platinum dehumidifier ticked all the boxes so I placed my order.Unpacked from box, put on landing and switched it on. If I was to tell you that it has only been running for approx 17 hours and has already pulled THREE LITRES of water you might be sat thinking 'Yeah right' but honestly it has!!! For the first time in I don't know how long our windows aren't full of condensation when I've woken up.I'm amazed. I'm astounded. I'm thrilled.

Had it a short while and it's super, its powerful and cool for a fan, doesn't blow warm air like usual fans. It also looks good and is a good size. Haven't tried all features yet but so far it's great. A little more expensive than a standard fan but well worth it in my opinion.

The camera was on sale so I took a chance on upgrading on an old Logitech, the picture quality is superb, adjustments features on the camera for tilting are really good I have it placed on the far corner of a 43'' monitor and it still has a great wide field of view. Auto focus works well and reasonably quick takes a second or two. For the price I paid £99 I have very little to complain about.

So far I am very impressed with this product. I did my research before as it was an expensive purchase and I am glad I went with this one. I have used other thermal cameras in the past and have not been impressed but the quality of the images on this unit is very impressive. I think the stand out feature is the face it blends a actual picture with a thermal image so you keep the importance information like labeling on a fuse board. I am impressed by the accuracy of the temperature and the fact you can make changes to the image after the photo has been taken allowing you today choose the best colour setting or move the temperature point. It's expensive bit of kit but when you compare it to the equivalent spec camera it's actually quite cheap. For this kind of price you wouldn't be getting very good images.I have highy expect this will be getting lots of uses at work been an electrician both diagnosis of faults and when doing electrical safety checks and will make use stand out from the others not using this technology. Also a nice added point is the USB c connection is extendable so it fits on even with my large case something I was concerned about before purchasing.

The media could not be loaded. After much searching and review reading I settled on this Barlus camera. The picture is crisp and clear and the reproduction of underwater colours is accurate. As others have mentioned, not just plug and play, at least with my NVR, but help from China was fast, sometimes on the same day, which given the 8hours difference was impressive. My problem was setting the parameters for Onvif or IP cameras as as it wanted to follow Hikvision protocol with its own port number. All this was explained and some of it remotely configured for me. The footage shown was recorded on the iPad from the TV so not up to original quality but still good enough for review purposes I think. Clear water obviously helps and much moving of the camera to get the best views but even with good water the infra red was not of much use at night. Somehow I did manage to switch of the infra red mode on one of many configuration utilities I was trying but was told this was not possible! However with pond lights already installed this gives a usable night time image which is far better than the infra red mode. Altogether a hefty, well made camera with good support from the manufacturers should you require it.

Extremely easy to install and very useful to have on my phone, the picture quality is excellent. I have one positioned on the kennels and the dogs move around frequently so have loads of notifications and so the battery usage is more but overall very, very pleased.

The media could not be loaded. Well as you can see in the video scared of an intruder when he saw the blue light on the camera come on (which you can turn of) so very pleased these cameras have a few faults true there is a delay in recording night vision not the best plus a lag when trying to talk to someone which makes this function all but unless but with all its faults it is far outweighed by the ease of installation the range for the WiFi out standing between 30 and 40 feet through two brick walls ok 1 camera is right on the limit 2bars but still captures movement we brought this to add to our system (we have blink 1s) seem quicker but could be just my imagination so happy if you want a camera that's easy to manage and set up this is for you if you want a professional system spend £££££ more your choice

The Nest Cam Outdoor was an upgrade from my three year old Arlo, and in a big way. The quality of the video, and the speed at which I could pull up a live view isn't even close to being comparable. The added bonus is the speed and accuracy that Nest Aware is able to see motion, identify it as a person, or other moving object, and then pop up the notification on my Apple Watch! It was easy to set up. Super happy with this camera.

The media could not be loaded. Had a Christmas package stolen form my driveway, because of the camera we were able to identify the license plate and the thief which ultimately resulted in his arrest. My package was recovered. I posted the video on social media and people were amazed at the quality.

Out of the box, this product works amazingly. It is literally 'plug and play' with no technical skills needed. I did have one issue with getting the system to sync with Simplisafe Central but this was resolved by one of the support team who were super helpful. You do notice that this is a US based company and the UK side of it is still fledgling, but I am sure this will get better with time. People grumble about the cost of the remote monitoring service, but I look at it like this, it is a third of my annual house insurance and probably a lot more useful.

Amazing lock! Works great! Doesn’t have a large range from lock to phone. But it works for what I need. Ultimately I will need to hook my kwikset app up to my Apple TV for it to work remotely.Awesome lock!
