I bought this device with full knowledge of the facts, having read the many reviews. So I can only confirm what has been written. If your first question is "Is this device effective, should I buy it?", the answer is yes! Without hesitation. But you should know this: - It would benefit from being a little higher, the container that will hold the pulp should not be very high (a soup plate, basically). - There are leaks through the crank (which can be minimized by not overloading the mule, so as to allow the juice to drain through the grid). u adding a seal, but it's a bit of a job, simply adding a seal won't be enough. And don't forget, we're talking about a few drops of juice, not a jet of tomato juice! - It's ideal for reasonable quantities (if you've got 100kg to do, opt for another model). For 10kg of tomatoes (about 8kg of pulp), it took me a good hour, including rinsing and quartering. - The part that allows the coulis to drain would benefit from being a little thinner (watch out when washing, it can cut). Once you know that, the machine does the job you bought it for, and does it well. I have absolutely no regrets about this purchase, quite the contrary...I should have bought it before!
