When there is no stock for a model, the waiting time is not given or not accessible from the customer's view. The hat arrived well, a week after the desired usage date!!! I will wear it anyway... but I am disappointed with the service.

We would be happy to provide you with an exact delivery time.
However, in the hat manufacturers, this is currently not possible.
Many companies are small structures like ours and try to respond as quickly as possible.
However, the uncertainties of orders and people often mean that deadlines are not respected.
This despite everyone's good intentions.
If we also add the approximate deadlines of the different carriers, the deadlines for us are quite complicated to estimate.

Hello,
I had already bought a Crambes hat at a market in Saint Gildas in Morbihan, it shrank after washing (at 30°) size 'L', that's why I ordered a new one in size XL. Too big for my head, but after washing it turned out to have shrunk to the right size.
I hope, however, that this phenomenon will not happen again during a future wash!
And that it does not lose its UV protection qualities after successive washes.

Regarding the size issue, it often shrinks because when you clean it; you need to clean it well with cold water and ammonia and not warm or hot because that's when it shrinks.
Otherwise, the Tanzania Safari hat in cotton has a fabric with UV Standard 801 - Protect 80 - UVP 504/1 to effectively protect you from the sun even when wet.
