Excellent choice, products and service but beware import duty and VAT if ordering from the UK. Parcel Force also charges a resultant handling fee. These all added £87 to my £213 order total. Cannot dodge VAT - it is paid either to the retailer or at Customs depending on order value - but I think the duty and handling elements could be avoided if order total is less than £135 as my next one will be. I must do more research... :)
Response from Freezedried & Co
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and for your kind words about our products and service.
We’re sorry that the import VAT, customs duty and handling fees added so much to the final cost of your order. These charges are applied by the destination country and the carrier, so unfortunately they are outside our control.
We always recommend checking the latest UK import rules before purchasing, since the charges can vary depending on the order value and the products included.
We hope your next order goes more smoothly, and we look forward to serving you again!

Super responsive customer service. I had forgotten an item in my order and they were able to modify it quickly enough for it to be added to the same package as the original order.

The perfect order and shipped on time. Not on time due to the shipping company. The order arrived very late and did not arrive in time for the crossing. Perhaps they should review the transport agencies.
