Little snag with the wrong accessory being shipped with the tablet which was promptly resolved by customer service. Not so positive about being stuck with Android 12. I could have bought any rugged Android tablet with a brighter screen.

Hi! We are a bit astonished of your comment. We have thousands of tablets on the market, used by professional sailors in races like the Vendée Globe or the America's Cup and never receive any complaint. or perhaps there's an issue with your particular tablet, we had the problem one time. But then please open a support ticket and we'll deal with it.

Purchased a Sailproof SP10S tablet for use as an on deck navigational tablet. The tablet has been in use for cruising on the west coast of Scotland, Irish Sea, English Channel, and South Brittany. Cruising has meant it has been used on both day and night passages. The Sailproof has delivered impeccable performance with excellent visibility in bright sunlight and in night time conditions. Used with open cpn and navionics software with no issues. Excellent support from the Sailproof team answering our queries promptly and professionally, a great team with extensive knowledge of sailing and their product which they use personally on their own boats. I highly recommend this product.
