Delivery speed

Delivery time was a tad longer than announced, but the shop was quick to give an update when messaged. The 350 arcem jacket with custom colors is awesome, totally worth the waiting time!

Excellent communication

I like the quality of the products and I love the style. I also got conpliments. I brought the Arcem 800N pants and the jacked, with the puffy arms. Keep in mind, the jacked is really bulky, the neck area a bit limiting, depending on the mask. Also, bulky means less felxibility, but I choosed it on purpose. The heat up is, as with all jackets, there. It is my first jacket, so I wanted to get used to such a jacket right away. A chest and tummy protector is technically not necessary, but you still feel thrusts at the tummy and chest (tummy more). So, depending on your pain resistance, you do not need more protectors on the chest and tummy. I did not choose the ventilation option, because it does take away a bit of style. The shipping and customer service was alright. I got really fast feedback to my messages, ecen had the option to change colors of pants, after it was available for free. That was really nice. I had concerns about shipment duration, because other reviews were bad. It was not the promised 4-6 weeks, but 8-9 weeks. Still in a really acceptable range. The production started 1 month after the payment was received. This is the reason, why I have to remove 1 star. Besides that really happy, everything as expected. Also the measurements given are correct.

The responses to my questions and queries were very pleasant, and helped me set realistic expectations, but it's slow, really slow. Took months for 'em to get back to me at one point. The pants I ordered are fabulous and fit perfectly, though I'd advice anyone buying a pair (pluderhosen, the puffy pants) to go a size above what the measurements say. I do wish the measurement chart had been clearer about the fact that they can't be adjusted to be looser. All in all, a nice company with good products, but they're a little slow on communication. They'll probs get back to you later than you'd hoped/wanted, but their things do arrive (eventually).

Very very disappointed, 4 months delay, various emails and phone calls, and shipping costs of 168 euros!!! And when the package finally arrived, I received another 80 euros in customs fees!!!

Worth the 2 month wait

I received the items after a long wait and I had to find out myself the estimated delivery through a contact form. When the items arrived they were fine however I used the wyvern fight gloves one session and they had holes in. I complained and was told the batch was bad, to wait 10 days for information and they would send a replacement. It's now been over a month since that message. I emailed 3 times. I have now given up. I will not be recommending this company to anyone or purchasing again.

It took three months from order to shipping, and when it got here the sizes were way wrong (I ordered a large and recieved a jacket that fit a person who usually uses small)

Tiny bit late but there was thank You card inside.

The equipment is excellent, but there are two drawbacks. The knee pads are too small, leaving a gap on the inside of the leg. The groin pad's attachment to the back of the pad is too short. I can barely get it to attach at the very edge, and even then it pulls the pads down from my waist. I'll have to lengthen the attachment myself.

The Neckguard has a good quality!

Overall happy with my order. It came slightly later than expected but it was well packaged and still fast for this kind of thing. I ordered a mask which was size small and still slightly too big, but this should be an easy fix and I am happy with how sturdy it is. I also ordered full arm plating. These are very protective while still allow full mobility, but again I am on the borderline for being too small. Significant adjustments have also been required to ensure they stay in place as without the SPES jacket they are not very well anchored, and also to shorten the velcro straps. They have also required neatening up as the edges are quite messily cut. Saying this, they promise to be a good addition to my kit and their rubbery material goes a good job of absorbing blows.

Due to problems, the order took 5 months (!) to get completed. The product is perfect, and the Black Armoury guys are very nice, friendly, and correct.

Five stars for what I received. But the customer service experience alone could get its own five stars.

As a returning customer I am once again happy with the service and communication from the team at Black Armoury. The customised jacket I ordered fits great and looks both very robust and stylish. Delivery was postponed by some time due to circumstances outside of BA's control, but communication about this was quick and friendly.

I have been waiting so long that I don't even remember when I ordered. No communication from the store about the estimated remaining time. Very disappointing.
