I hadn't seen a delivery time when I placed the order on 11/12, 2 to 3 weeks it seems...
I only received it on 14/01 which makes almost 5 weeks!
When ordering on the site, what you see mainly in large letters is the mention of deadlines: "48 to 72h"

Very good site, unfortunately I made a mistake in size and when I returned it to exchange for the larger size, it was no longer available, so I waited nearly a month before asking for a refund but even that was complicated, I ended up with a credit note and the bob in question is still not available ...

I bought this enlarger for a hat ''Indiana Jones'' purchased at the Traclet store.
- The item is of very poor quality (chopped with an axe?) made in China.
Consisting of 2 half-spheres, which leaves a mark on the hat. The hat being slightly conical, it would have been wiser for the enlarger to also be conical.
- When trying to spray a little warm water (with a sprayer) the ink from the ''traclet'' stamp ran on the hat making a nice black stain!
- Incomprehensible that Traclet could sell this kind of item absolutely not suitable.
We were used to better!!!

Hello
Can you please indicate the reference of the Indiana Jones hat you ordered from us because we cannot find it.
The item has been made in the United States for over 20 years.
For the conical shape, it is not as shown in the photos.
In the case of a conical hat, you would have needed to take another enlarger.
Finally, regarding the ink, the enlarger is not made to have water because otherwise the wood will warp.
Thank you for contacting us to find a solution.
Best regards

Response from Chapellerie Traclet
Hello
Please excuse us, we do send hats in double corrugated boxes but we cannot send them in boxes because otherwise the transport could not take place.
In the case where the package is crushed, it is preferable to refuse the package because we pack them well with tissue paper but we cannot ensure that the product is not crushed.
It would have been good to note the carrier which in this case is Chronopost and not DHL because we do not work with this carrier. Indeed, it is not our fault if the carrier does not take care of the package because apart from sending it in boxes, we cannot find more resistant packages.
Best regards

Response from Chapellerie Traclet
hello
it's normal since you changed size and we had to order them.
We cannot send a product immediately when it is not in stock.
We are sorry if you decided to change the size of the products and we did not have them in stock.
It's not nice because we had to order them for you.
It would have been simpler to choose the right sizes and then we would have ordered them for you.
Best regards

I was very happy to find what I was looking for at chapellerie-traclet, as the hat I ordered was a replacement for a beloved hat that I had for over 10+ years and which I lost over the holidays. I had just about given up on finding the same hat, in fact, but then got lucky with chapellerie-traclet...and I am considering ordering a second...as backup. :-)
